It’s coming.

Capcom has officially announced that Resident Evil 6 is in “full development” for the 360, PS3 and PC. They’ve set the console release for November 20, 2012 with a PC version to come later.

By the looks of the trailer and the press release, Leon S. Kennedy and Chris Redfield will both be protagonists. Not only that, Leon will probably have to headshot a zombie president and Chris will have to deal with Chinese zombies. Fierce.

Finally! One of the best gaming stories of all times! And it's Co-op again! :bob:

Pretty much done with PES 2010, did Be a Legend mostly. I can retire my player now, whose 32 out of a possible 36. Wanted to play as a second striker mostly, with AMC and ST being the secondary positions, and my skillset was based largely on my passing ability, which sucked since to succeed you need speed, strength and finishing.

Started out at Birmingham playing as a poacher, mostly latching onto through balls for 1-on-1s thanks to my excellent movement, but poor finishing meant lots of chances and few goals. Got my groove, qualified for UEFA and won the FA cup the first year, and then got 2nd the following year, won the FA cup again, and reached the quarters of the UEFA cup with Brum.

Moved to Bordeaux where I replaced the Lyon-bound Gourcouff in the AMC slot and had a fantastic season, both scoring and providing in quantity, winning the french league, cup, and reaching the CL quarters.

Chelsea came knocking and I couldn't resist, packing my bags and going to the up-till-now rampant CL and Prem champions 3 years running. Got my wish and finally played as a seocnd striker, and spent 2 seasons there I think, maybe 3, scoring lots of goals and providing tons of assists, winning everything in the process.

Decided to explore the other leagues and other formations, so I left for 4-5-1 "strikerless" Roma, where I spent a season and won the league, but missed out on the Cup to Inter, who were a bitch to deal with. Also finally won the UEFA cup. Spent the season playing as the main striker and the focal point of the entire squad.

Real Madrid came in with an offer and I couldn't refuse to play for them and try to win everything in Spain. Won the domestic double but couldn't pip Chelsea for the CL title, losing out to them in the semis. Spent the year playing on the left wing in a 4-2-2-2 (2 DMs, 2 wingers, 2 strikers) which became a narrow 4-2-1-2-1 (2 DMs, 1 MC, 2 AMCs, 1 ST), where I played as the left-sided AMC. Linked up well with Ronaldo and Benzema and had a blast cutting inside and putting crosses in, having previously mostly played through the middle.

With only Holland left to conquer, I held out for a move to Ajax which never came, so I left for Utrecht, where I played as an MC, having a fantastic half-season, linking the midfield to the attack, moving all around the pitch, and running at defenders from deep. I say half a season because in January Ajax offered me a contract so I jumped ship. Ajax were 4th with Utrecht 1st, and I had just scored a hattrick against my new club in December to take them out of the running. Played my heart out as a main striker (which was far less interesting truth be told), but in the end Utrecht beat us to the title by one point. The season was an absolute failure in terms of titles, with Utrecht getting both domestic titles and Ajax being out of Europe by the time I appeared.

Decided to stay at Ajax despite offers from some big clubs, to try and conquer the land of the Cruyff. We dominated the league and cup, terrorising defenses and got the domestic double, and surprisingly, despite having an overall poor squad, we won the CL too, winning me my first World Player of the Year award.

With nothing left to win there I decided to skip town to Barcelona, and get a last shot at teaming up with Messi, Xavi and Iniesta. At first it was promising, I had played as an AMC, leading the attack and on either wing, and we were playing great footie, but soon after the manager decided to go defensive and we basically switched to a lopsided 4-4-2/4-5-1 depending on how you looked at it. I played on left wing for the rest of the season and declared myself deeply unhappy at the change of formation and that I would be leaving as soon as possible. We won the domestic double.

With only one club title eluding me, I set off for Genoa, ready to beat the tough Inter for the Copa, in a 3-4-3, which was the whole reason I picked them. Had a blast for a while, playing as an MC, a wingback, or across the frontline, but again the manager switched formations to a 3-5-2, and I was stucked in the attacking tandem for the season. We won the Copa, but only got to UEFA in the league. The squad was crap and I carried them every match, so I was glad to have won the Copa at first try.

Having won everything there is to be won I decided to return to Chelsea and see out my career, but they didn't offer me a contract, so I decided to force their hand and signed with City. Played as a seocnd striker in a 4-4-2, won the domestic double and the UEFA cup, and Chelsea offered me a spot back home.

Spent the lst 3 seasons there, winning everything again and leading the way in a now 4-2-3-1, playing in the AMC role and doing everything. It's become way too easy, although getting the captaincy was nice.

Stopped here because I reached the 1000 club goals milestone, with another 100 or so for the NT, where Israel have managed to participate in every tournament, win the Euro once, the World Cup twice, and generally be competitive. Still one more international tournament left in the tank, so I might suck it up and finish the career, but I don't want to move clubs, I want to finish my career at Chelsea, or at most play a final year with Birmingham, so it's very boring now.

I lose interest in most games nowadays because I don't have the time to pay attention to the storylines or long strategies, which is why PES is great, just stick it in, play a few matches and shut it off.

Also bought Fifa Street 2 for the same purposes, completed the 1st challenges, won the international tournies with England (chose them for the chance to play with Terry and Lamps), and maxed out my player on-route to finishing the Captain challenges. It's a fun game but the AI is irritatingly predictable but not easy. You know that you will be able to make a a first dribble but only get a 20% shot at succeeding with a 2nd and it's just silly sometimes. Still, decent. Currently got Buffon, Totti, Kaka, Robinho, Cafu, Schweini and maybe someone else, can't remember. Just gonna get my favorite players (which is why I hate that I can't get Cech, Lamps, Terry, Cole, Duff or Cole in my squad) and max them out.

EDIT: HA! That was ******* long! Didn't even notice my career was that long. Makes sense though, been playing that save for a year now.

Kept playing this every once in a while. I decided to move to Barca again to play in a 4-3-3 since I was bored, but soon after I joined they switched to a crappy diamond-ish formation which I despised so despite finally trumping Almeria (they're brilliant now, and beat us 5-1 once), I jumped to Arsenal mid-season. Wanted to try out Almeria's 4-2-3-1, but Arsenal were the only non-4-4-2 team offering me a contract so I went there. Just finished the season, winning the title and nothing else, playing as an MC and having lots of fun, think I'll stay for another season, too.

With Israel I just won the World Cup again, getting assister and scorer of the tournie, with the former being the only individual honour left for me to conquer. I still have WC Quals assister left to do, but I won't be able to play at another WC, and I was just 2 assists off, so I'll just bow out.

Is FM12 worth playing? I got bored of FM because it has been almost the same since 5 years with just a few changes here and there. Last FM I played was FM10.

I'm liking it a lot, but to be fair this is the fist version I really played. I played last year's demo and the year before, but back then I didn't have the attention span for it. This year I'm enjoying it.

It's good, I've played FM06, 09, 10, and now 12 and I think it's the best of the bunch.

My game crashing caused me to stop playing, and haven't touched it in a month, but once I get started I get hooked.

While we mentioning consoles, looks like next console generation will hit the market sooner then expected. Both Sony and Microsoft are pretty quiet, but some reliable sources said that few prototypes of PS4 and Xbox 720 are already testing.

The GPUs being used for the upcoming Xbox 720 will be similar to Radeon HD 6670s rather than the 7000 series, which has recently been introduced. The 6670 cards support DirectX11, 3d, multidisplay output, and 1080p. This card should allow the Xbox 720 to have six times the graphics processing power of the current generation 360. IGN goes on to mention that their sources expect the Xbox 720 to release in either October or November of next year.

6670 is not bad card, but it's only 128 bit and have 800 MHz engine core. On other hand there is possibility that PS4 use dual GPU or at least GTX560 or 570. Well that's something! Still, it's nothing official yet.

I think that Xbox 360 beat PS3 by far. I'm not owner of any of those, only PS2, but regarding statistics Xbox is way more popular. Damn, Microsoft even didn't covered my country at all, you can get Xbox only by private importer, while PS3 is on every corner.

So FIFA Street is EA's answer to wanting to have indoor football in the FIFA series?

BTW: Those face models seem really close to the ones in FIFA; so I don't think it'd be long before we can just port some things into the full FIFA game on PC anyway.

From the FIFA Street videos I've seen, the only real shame is that although they integrated Futsal, it's not like in Futsal the guys just stand there doing tricks and pannas all the time. It's almost as rare as in Football. But whatever, the game is called Street, so...

Serious Sam 3, anybody? Looks like uncle Sam is back in big style. Serious Sam 3 defies all the modern FPS'es, you can pick as much weapons you can find, there is no health regeneration, its like those old-school FPS'es that were lost in last 10 years. Brutal, unrealistic, inflated, but hell of a fun! And one big flaw, not constant frame rate, it goes from 30 to 80 depending of the environment, I would better like steady 30 or 40, it vary too much.

What did everyone think of LA Noire? I tried it, thinking it'd be a bit of a 1940s/50s GTA from the good guys side.

Whilst it wasn't bad, it felt a little scripted for me.
