The reason I left PES 4 FIFA

Hello all,
I am a veteran FIFA player ever since 96 or so. I usually play against my friends.
I switched to PES5 when I discovered it was so much better.
The same was for PES6.
However, in PES8 the most important fiture for me was canceled.
For some unknown reason Konami have decided to remove the option to play with the computer teams in tournuments. That complitly ruined the game for me because I couldn't play with my friends any more so I switched to FIFA.
I bought PES8 the first day it came out and 2 hours later it was removed from my computer never to return.

needles to say I didn't purchase the PES9. I checked it out and they still don't allow you to play with the computer teams.

And I ask, Why???
Does any one knows the logic behind this?

Hehe. And the dude left to Fifa for that reason?? In my opinion Fifa feels and plays like a 90-s game. Man how static and wrong it feels.

well i played 15 games on fifa09 then i uninstalled it and went to by pes2009!
have no regrets yet.
i guess some people like fifa and some like pes,and this year i give pes the thumb up!

In kitserver folder there is a config.exe start that and check the "disable controller selection" box

I've got to say that PES 2009 is a far superior football game than FIFA 09 on PC. If you got a PC, definitely get PES2009. However, i've played FIFA on my mates Xbox360 and it scared me how much i enjoyed it!! I seriously never thought i'd see the day when FIFA would outclass PES but FIFA 09 is a top game. I've got a PC only, so i'm playing PES2009 this year but if you get the chance to play FIFA 09 on xbox or PS3 you won't regret it!! PES really needs to step up next year because its already lost so many fans this year and not to mention last year...

Funny, but the "First Touch" stick in FIFA is one function alone that shatters the stale, non-changing gameplay of PES. That one function easily negates the term "childs game".

Trust me, I played WE/PES since 1997.

Look, if you like PES these days, thats great.

The only thing it means is that you're new to the series so you think Winning Eleven/PES is the best thing ever.

The reason youre a noob: You wouldnt still BE playing PES if you used to play the game when it was GOOD. Sorry to be harsh, but there have been no major improvements, heck - barely any minor improvements.

Its safe to say that to most of us who have played ol' Seabass's non evolving game of football evolution....ahem.....are happy and glad to move on to a new level and have a new game.
