I know Metzelder is for free but what about his pay check???::he will get money from us 4 being injured and useless so I hope we can get Alexis/Andrade and Mexes cuz they are much better even though they cost money but MAN WE HAVE MONEY and Real should buxy those Players who are useful 4 us!

I'd rather take my chances with Metzelder than have cannavaro one more year. How much worse can he be?? Then tthere's the money difference...Totally makes sense to get Metzelder unless we have a better cb in the bag for next season.

Well, Mertesacker is great too. I forget him to say the truth. But he can makes some mistakes at times. Metzelder is also very good.

exactly, i dont think things are going to change that much if either you guys sell cannavaro and get another new cb, i think cannavaro is well worth the cb you guys need, the problem with madrid its the team in general, theirs a really lack of motivation going in their with all players.

I think it was three years ago as I hoped he'd find his old form again. We could've had him if we wanted.

Please, that guy is healthy every four years when the WC comes around. He missed 74 out of 129 possible games due to injuries in the past three seasons. When he's fit he's never been ranked among the best 10 Bundesliga defenders. He's solid for the nt 'cause he plays alongside Mertesacker and has two worldclass DMs in front of him. Big deal, even Huth would get the job done.
His club is going down to the second division and he isn't even a player that stands out. His former coach said Metzelder's one of the key problems of the club:

"There are "big names" on the BVB team, but it's only the names that are big. "

"Metzelder takes refuge in words and thinks that only four or five top clubs in Europe are good enough for him."

Juan would be the much better option for Madrid. He might only have 1/2 of Metzelder's talent but he's been a superb, consistent defender for years. And he's a team player.

you can't even say who sucks on the team, its the team that sucks. there is no ******* way you can play decent football if you put out a starting eleven like capello's. if someone banged his head into a wall for a couple of hours, and he'd go make the first 11 all brain-damaged, he'd do better than this.
irregardless of injuries, irregardles of form, its just the same **** over and over again. too ******* sad.
