I think the first law of Madrid is that Raul must play in every game. If he got dropped, then Robinho would be able to play.

It is because of his inconsistency and the teams, that I am not happy with Raul getting lots of playing time.

There has only been 2 consistant players this season ( Casillas and Ramos ). That's right, Raul has been off and on, Robinho has been off and on, Reyes has been off and on, RVN has been off and on, and etc. No body has been consistant this year ( not all there fault because Mr. Capello takes a part of the blame ) but why just single out Raul? As far as I an concered Capello keeps playing him as a winger, not like it's his choice to where he will play.
