u guys must be lovin ruud :rockman:...saw some highlights and m here mainly to comment on the 'fans' :mad:...absolute ****s tbh...m sick of this things and i hope there is somethin done bout it...

i cant understand y a player will get booked if he provokes the crowd after scorin but no action is taken against the fans who shout abuse,throw things at them in the first place :kader:

Yes passion and rivalry is there in fans but it makes me sick that they show it this way :nape:

Ruud has proved that he can score just about anywhere he plays.
he's a proven legend now.
and for those who thought that he only poaches and is lucky..........well, ruud proved yesterday that he can score sublime goals too.
the 3rd and 4th ones were sublime finishes. absolute class.
being a lifelong van nistelrooy fan and believing him as my mentor....i am really happy that things have turned out good for him.
i dont like madrid a bit..but am happy for ruud.
surely..you guys have got some bargain!
the guy is 30 and he scores at a rate as if he is 25.

just feel gutted we let him go and that too only for 10m.
20m would be rightly worth

At the beginning when Ruud was signed EVERYONE here said ooooooo nooooooooo not Ruud v Nistelrooy please leave him at ManUtd and "he's over the hill" and more stuff like that and I told you from the beginning that he is one of the best strikers in football history and all I got was laughter like "yeah right" blablabla. You should hear yourselves now "el grande", "king Ruud", "best buy" all I can say is TOLD YA SO.
Ruud, was, is and always will be a class act and yesterday it was him vs Osasuna.
I think it won't be long now till he will play for our NT again cause he belongs in Oranje. van Basten already invited Seedorf again after years so Ruud will be the next I'm sure of it.

his goalscoring recors have put him up with the best.
so dont worry......
and dont get so happy.... Kanoute will never be a legend even if he has 8 goals this season

Nice to hear all the positive about Ruud (I'm from Holland). Saw the highlights, damn, 3rd and 4th were class really. That chipshot when he was called offside was just brilliant. Is he top goalscorer in Spain now?

I was one of the few that welcomed Ruud from the moment he was mentioned because i follow the EPL and knew what he was capable of. 13 goal can't be wrong :ewan:

Ruud is not lucky. He has vision, knows how to read the game, just like Raul they are always at the right place at the right time. One must not mistake this for luck. I wish Ruud was this good for me on Xbox 360 Fifa 2007 :nape:

This is one off the few times in life were it feels great to be wong :)

he has given the team much more then i though, i would have to say he was a bit under appreciated at manu, he works hard for the team, holds the ball up well, good vision in his passing and can score bundle of goals.

i have to say though that none of us doubted he would score, it was other things that came into it i,e he was tha third player over 30 we bought this summer, he was rejected by manu i guess i thought if he isnt good enough for manu he isnt for real madrid, knowing that he would probably keep ronaldo out of the team etc etc......

if there is one crititicm i would have to say that he has scored all his goals in 3 games in the league, i would prefer it if they were more spread out.

FYI Ruud didn't leave ManUtd cause he was not good enough, he left because he had words with Ferguson and because Ferguson sent him home when they played the farewellgame for Keano and he is one of his best friends. Otherwise he would've never left United cause he always said that he was happy there. Luckily for you he came to Madrid to shine there.
Marco van Basten wants him back for the NT but Ruud wants to concentrate on Real right now but he didn't say that he will never go back to the NT cause Oranje means the world to him.
And the discussion here in Holland has been indeed what if...... but Kuyt played so end of story :rolleyes:
