i wonder who will end up with buffon? I know we dont need him (obviously), but it'll be interesting to see who gets him

Actually, I just read articles from a few different web sites and they all mention no CL this year only for Milan.

Milan will only miss next year's CL (with the current verdict). They arent suspended for another 2 years or anything.

wait, I know this isnt their thread and all, but are they banned from Europe independently or something? Last year, they finished 14 points above the Viola in fourth. I could easily see them making a top 4 place this year

they were docked 44 points from last season, so they are out of europe this season. I originally heard they will be banned from europe for 3 years, but apparently that wasnt true. They'll be starting with -15 points this season though. With a weakened serie a, they could easily finish top 4 again.

mmm remember that ManUtd were trying to get casillas it seens that they are in need of a goalkeeper maybe they would get him or maybe he just want to stick up with juve dont really know:nape: :ewan:

Hey guys, it seems RvN is near to come. It would close doors to Soldado who probably will be loaned out to Celta or Nastic, and that sucks, but I can understand Capello in this point. Since winning a title this season is a must, we need a guaranteed and proven backup for Ronie, another player tha secure 20+ goals a season. No time for experiments in that critical position this year. I still hope that De la Red and Jurado get their chances in the midfield though.

My fear is that Capello would use Ronie and RvN at once, which would definetly suck. I know you're a little fed up with all the lineups, but I can't resist it this time (6) This is what I think would be the logical dispossal only with the signing of Ruud, having in count our squad composition, so we get to use our current best players avalaible. With no particular order:

why would RVN + R9 suck?

one would be good for Lobbing crosses to, and the other can run at defenses. Plus both could hold up the ball for the mids to run on to, or turn and shoot if the ball is played to their feet.

that would mean a 4-4-2 instead of a 4-5-1 which i was never a fan of. more options in attack seems like a good thing to me.

so is Ruud van Nistelrooy the 1st player to be signed by Madrid? or will one of the Juve trio beat him to it?

and is Solado the 1st to leave Madrid? (even on a temporary basis) or will R.Carlos' transfer come quicker?

oh and i believe that the punishment handed out to the Italian teams was fair. All except AC Milan. Why stripped of 15 points yet not sent down a league? o well. the power has shifted amongst the Italian scene. i hope this helps smaller teams get their chance to shine!

but I'd say your "current line up" thing would be almost correct
Cicinho/Robinho both could play on RM tough as back ups.

This could be bullsh!t, but...

AS has come to know through sources that Kaka is furious with the points deduction and the prospect of no Champions Leauge football, he thinks Milan are as good as trophyless for next season.

He is desperate not to damage his relationship with the Rosseneri fans, so he will wait to see if Mijatovic can agree a fee with Berlusconi first. If not, he will apparently hand in a transfer request.
