Diego Lopez sold to Villarreal, well, he's too good to be on the bench or on a second team. I just hope he cant play against us, because you know that mofo will save everything

Im still pissed about the Mata sale, i hope some other youngsters come up to the first team though. Torres was a genius find, another of his kind in the midfield would be great. And Soldado should return, im sure he could play alot, 3 competitions are not easy, so we need another good striker.

I don't want capello to leave. seriously what must be going through calderon'd head. We just won la liga and he can't come out and say that capello will be our coach for the coming season. Does he want to follow in perez shoes by getting rid of the coach who just won?? You make some interesting points, although if you have the type of team we have, even after a less than successful season, you don't just blow them up right away.
I mean, despite playing a long stretch of the season without our best players, we tied for first place with a better goal differential. We still have the one of the best teams in the world, and yes I agree, we need some tweaks. The simple fact is that, during those key injuries to Messi and Eto'o, we didn't have the players who could step in and fill the gaps. I still think you guys need to do more rebuilding than we do.
Madrid overachieved to finish the season, while we underachieved. So if both clubs go back to normal, we'll come out on top. That said, I do think we need to strengthen certain aspects of the squad, and I think this will happen. If you can sign some important players and continue with Capello, you should do alright. But if your crazy president fires him (despite blaming Mijatovic), I think you will have a tough season.
Don't get me wrong, I don't mind when you go down in flames, but I also enjoy a strong rivalry, even with the painful ending it sometimes brings. I'll still say it, Madrid was not better than us this year. You did not get more points and you did not score more goals. Our goal differential was double yours. Nonetheless you are champions and that is reality. I live with it and accept it.
Enjoy it, but don't fool yourself into thinking that you are suddenly back to dominance. You still have a lot of work to do.

Actually, I wasn't talking shit about your team. I admire what they did and how they pulled together and did what was necessary to win.
I think what I said was pretty much an accurate description of what happened. Being a better team didn't matter in the end, you're right. You are the champions and we're not and, as I said, I accept that. I also never said "CRAPPY TEAM" as obviously you are not.
I thought I was engaging in intelligent discussion about football, and my favourite club, with rivals, not coming into your thread and causing trouble. If you read a few pages of the Barcelona Thread, you will see many, many posts by Madridistas talking **** and causing trouble, while you will see very few of that same type of post in here by me. (other Cules I can't always vouch for).
Anyway, congrats again on being champions, watch out for us next season as we are taking that trophy back.

When I say we have a better team I mean, if you had to pick a starting 11 from the two clubs, I think only 3 Madrid players would be there. Ramos, Casillas and Diarra. Of course, being better on paper means nothing, as we have all seen this year. You have to play the games, and for many reasons Barca underachieved this season. So now the task falls to getting the right pieces in place and getting the team playing back up to potential, which I think could be easier than getting a team to play over their heads again like Madrid did the second half this season.
Plus the coaching circus isn't going to help you guys. Your young guys like Robinho, Higuain, Gago, Ramos, Casillas et al are a great bunch, and I do hope you return to a high level as it is not good for the sport that a great club such as Madrid be in such a shambles for as long as you were.
But I think that Barca has had their "Jalon de orejas" and are going to be back better than ever next year.
