Cassano comeback could be interesting for giving Ruud a rest from time to time. The way I see it:

IMO Beckham slows down our attack and does not do his job very well in terms of being a winger. I don't think I have seen any other winger for Madird let the fullbacks get infront of them so much, most of the time Beckham is a RB. Against Betis Ramos was attacking the whole right wing...something that Beckham did maybe once the whole game. I would also give Ruud a rest and imo if Raul plays it should only be as a FC, not as an AMC which is what Capello has used at him lately in place of Guti so that would mean this

Real has totally lost it, Real Madrid should go after true fighters instead of world stars, that's what a good team is all about, with 2 or 3 worldclass players and the rest being hard working players,

Really can you name me the "world stars" that we have? Last time I checked Gago, Marcelo, and Higuain were not there yet. Neither is Torres, Guti is not world class, and etc. So I really want to see these names of world stars you speak of.

Capello quiting, not while we are still in 2 comps. As much as I dislike Capello, firing him now will do no good at all. It will just make us worse. I would wait untill the summer and than let him go.

Edit - Been doing some reading here and just read that the club has already singed Schuster ( Getafe coach ) for next season, if that is true than that is great news for us all. Now I am not really sure if the whole Capello thing is just a rumor. I think we will know only after the Bayern match.

- After the Betis match, Calderon called Mijatovic and told him "can you talk to Capello and ask him why he keeps playing Cannavaro, Emerson and others; can't he make some changes?"

-Mijatovic delivers the message, Capello says "fire me if you want, but I am not changing"

-Apparently Capello knows the board is losing confidence in him with each passing day and he knows that he will not be back next year

Haha I may not like Calderon but he has a point on Cannavaro, Emerson, and others that Capello keeps on playing.

Just read this on AS, Mijatovic and Baldini had a heated discussion with Capello about his look at the young players. They asked him why he was playing Emerson, Raul, Guti while Higuain was on the bench and also why he took out Gago in the second half vs Betis. Another one that they confronted Capello with was the case of De la Red who is not even training with the first team anymore. So what was Capello's response, basically that he makes the decision and no one will tell him what to do.

I agree with Capello saying that it is 100% his decision and no one should interfere. Any board who interferes with the Coach will obviously cause problems.

But dont get me wrong, I dont think Capello's decisions are cool.

Just an update here it seems like the Bayern game will be Capello's last match with us. It seems certain that he is gone but the only problem seems to be his contract which the board will not want to pay him for.

What a f*cking sensational first half!! Just unstoppable. Great! The second half was pure trash, but we can do good, we v seen it. Now lets hope we go there and play an attacking formation. Because this Bayern can be beaten.

Still that last goal was a bit stupid to get. But we'll see, we can play good out of the Bernabeu

i doubt he will, this is capello after all, he probably wont play as defensive as we did in the second half but he wont be going all out for the win like we did in the first half, but to be honest i dnt really care how we play as long as we go through.

Higuain looked lively and I liked his game (ran a lot, made himself available and had a certain freshness)
