yesterdays win is up there with last years El Clasico! we really got something going with this new youngster team that Capello put together. (except for Ivan and Canna who are old )

i would love to see Miguel Torres many more times in the 1st team. what a talent! and his defending is flawless.

Diarra-Gago is working superb! now were tied with Barca and 2 pts under Sevilla.

injury report:
Emerson out for 1 month and Raúl for 3 weeks.
the injuries keeps raining in.. Gago is also injured, but nothing serious.

but, were playing in 3 competitions. Liga, CL and Copa.
all these injuries worries me.

rudd has proven he can still play well. Ronaldo on the other hand has done very little in the past two seasons. I've been a fan of ronaldos since his days at PSV, but he is only half the player has was and he is not needed anymore. With the new young talent ronaldo is surplus and only taken up space that could be used on a younger player.

O.K. I must say we played a hell of a game. Caps should field the exact players out there next match. We showed fighting spirit and workrate not seen in a long time. Higuain and Gago really impressed me for their age and the fact that it was their real debut. Miguel Torres looks great and should be given many more chances, Bravo has been improving dramatically. I am extremely pleased with this group. Hopefully we can finally move past the old guard. Sell Ronaldo, sit Raul, Salgado, even R. Carlos. It's time to let the kids play.

P.S. - Robinho has to improve his passing dramatically. His passing is attrocious at times. I really wonder if he will ever become the player everyone thought he'd be. He's a question mark to Capello now (must be) and I can somewhat understand.

I agree that we should buy an younger playerfor the forward but u can't tell me that van is better than ronaldo!!!who was the bestgoalgetter thelast 3 years for real madrid????

He may be fearing that he won't be the president anymore after the 20th...but noone is for sure what will happen after that day which is when the final recount happens for all the election.
