Oh Alexis a player that excites me, he was good for Malaga last season and is good for Getafe now aswell, he should get a callup to the NT imo. He is a young defender like Ramos has in that he can play CB or RB or even DM a little I think. Would be good to get him as Fabio wont get any younger and he looks to have a promising future.

BTW how good is Mexes for Roma? Everytime I see them play he looks ok but nothing really amazing, maybe its just the games I have seen him in? Not to mention he does pick up cards rather easily because he has kind of a temper.

ide prefer alexiz over mexes, mexes older and more expensive and i dont see a big diffrence between the 2, also alexis would not complain if he was on the bench (which he will be), were i think mexes would.

i think gago would be great he would be perfect as he can take emrsons spot next to diarra, i ve seen like 2 games of him and wot ive seen of him he is would do well in capello's system, he can bring the ball out of midfield very well and his passing is great he is much better then cesc, with him on the team i think he would make a lot of diffrence.

Im one of those who also think Gago is better then Cesc. I've seen alot of matches of Gago and im sure that he is better. I think that Boca lost one match with Gago in the team, or even none. He is the best player in Argentina atm. (well, he is the most consistent one thats for sure)

yeah i've seen a lot of games from the two new kids from argentina, Gago and Higuain, but what you gotta understand is that Cesc is a proven youngster on one of the best leagues in europe while these kids haven't proved their worth in europe yet.

But you also have to understand that players who are young and play in England tend to be overrated mostly. I dont say Cesc is very overrated, because he is a great young player, but I kinda like Gago more. It's ABSOLUTLY no coincidence that Boca didnt loose with Gago in the team. He really is the most important man there. While at Arsenal if you put Cesc out, you can replace him with more players.

With all the respect, he isnt that good (or maybe not yet). They tend to hype players. i think he is the perfect reaplacement for RC, i hope we dont loan him out, i think he should stay with the first team even though he will not play, just to get used to his surroundings, and get to know every one and next season he will takes RC place.

Fabregas is younger and he's a star for Arsenal. You can be great for Boca and still suck in Europe. Gago is no more than a gamble, even though i think he's the **** when i see him play. Cavenaghi was very good at River and he's a flop atm. Palermo was ace at Boca aswell. Being a badass for a big club in Argentina doesnt mean you're destined for greatness in Europe.

I'm glad with the interest in Gago and Marcelo, cause they're going to reinforce 2 positions we need to, but I don't think we need another CB atm. We already have Cannavaro, Ramos, Helguera, Mejia and Woody (loaned out).

BTW the Copa del Rey match starts in about 1 hour. Let's see how the double-9 performs, though I think using 2 pure strikers won't improve our game fluidness; on the contrary, we will use a lot of long balls (yes, more than usually )
