good news about becks, the sooner he is gone, the better. He just doesnt fit our style or la liga's style for that matter

best of luck to him in the future

it must be big news, it made sports illustrated's homepage (u.s. media's idea of covering soccer: becks, becks, becks, champions league final)

I really like Becks but he not really is having a lot of playing time and if he leave i would not be surprise.

Becks is used to being the center of attention. He cannot accept sitting on the bench whish is a big problem considering he's not abig talent. Robinho sat the bench and acts more maturely than Beckham doing so. And that's that Robinho has skills and ability up the wazoo. I'm not against Beckham at all. Seems like a nice guy but everything comes to an end. His days are numbered. I think most of us will really appreciate what he's done...he's given his all for us and that's the most important thing.

the field was horrible. lots of mud and very uneven.
im happy with 1-1 and that no one got injured. seriously, it was horrendeous conditions to play on. we´ll kill them of at Bernabeu.

After seeing that pic of the pitch I understand why it was 1-1. Great thing noone got hurt too.

yea, I saw R9 slip on the field when he got a great pass from Cassano, then I saw R9 give Diarra a great pass to score in the final minutes and Diara just WHIFFED the shot, totally missed the ball....it was truly a bad pitch

real awful pitch, good thing our players came out if it uninjured. although, it would have been nice to see how ronaldo played.

There is a big difference between those two, Beckham cant afford to wait around on the bench, Robinho has 10-15 years to play he can afford to wait around. You cant blame Beckham for having a whine

Ive just looked at the interview with Becks, he didnt bitch he just said it is frustrating not playing for club or country

Every day I feel sad and very frustrated as a footballer because I am not playing for my country or for my club," Beckham told the Mail on Sunday.

Beckham is in talks over a new deal with Real, but he may well wait to consider his options before committing his future to the club.

"Two more years on the bench would be very difficult," he declared. "At the moment it is very difficult for me not playing.

"I am not even thinking about retiring. When my heart and legs give in then that will be the time, but that is not the case now."

Of course Becks wants to play. It's normal...you would hope. But the bottom lin eis that he's there, brought in by Florentino for a different purpose for most of it. He's been average but plays with alot of heart which I think most people agree. Putting him in the starting 11 is ridiculous. We need to reserve that side for a more dangerous person who can actually dominate the ball and fly. It's normal he sit at a team like Real Madrid, really. Deep down inside even he knows that.

There not doubt about he playing with a lot of heart and that why he a class player but now to him start in the line-up it very hard.

Well the game against Nastic ended 1-3 ( Carlos, Helguera, and Robinho ). I have no clue how the team played as I did not watch the match or read any reviews. Always nice to win though(Y)

Did anyone see this game?
