take the one on page 697 by datboy and update it with facenside's info on 698.

Well maybe it's to early. I think it July 1st would be a good time to start a new thread. All the final canidates/promises available, then the election not to far off, the transfer window open and I think even the official FIFA calendar states it as the Start of the New "Season".

If you guys can give me a list to start out, I'll be sure to put it on the first page, and updayte it.

I have been trying to start a new Real Madrid Thread, but it doesn't let me start it until it is approved by a mod.

I would wait until July 2th, until we have a new president and new signings instead rumours and more rumours.

Why don't keep this thread until the end of the elections? I'm very curious if this hread can stand as the longest one, that La Superliga thread is sooo near. :p I have realised they use the same thread every year, that way it's pretty hard to catch :nape:

BTW thnx for the feed back on my sig, dat. Thinking of making a Sweden one?

i like calderon the best, at least from what i have read so far

the dual candidates thing sounds like a disaster waiting to happen, what a joke idea that is, one person should be in power. Plus those guys are being run by perez.

Anyway, nice wrapup, datboy!

I hate waiting until july for any changes to take place.

I would have to disagree, I think VM-Sainz looks the most solid so far and Calderon is right behind them. Run by Perez? I dont see the problem with the coach being in power of everything? I dont really agree with Mijatovic about Kaka, Capello, or RC either.

yeah i thought about and im gonna look for a nice one on another board. :) (too lazy to request one) :P

my favorite is Palacios. he wants Camacho as Director and the first thing he would do is promote Soldado, De La Red and Jurado to the 1st team.
also as a Swede, i dont think getting Zlatan is such a bad idea either.

Wow we must wait a bit to know who the next president will be :|

Youth Team
Villar Mir and Carlos Sainz (candidates together)

Coach: Sven-Goran Eriksson, Carlo Ancelotti or Arsene Wenger
Players: Cesc Fabrégas, Xabi Alonso and José Antonio Reyes. Villar Mir says he's willing to pay 150M Euro for Leo Messi. (his buy-out clause)

theses guys look like a winner. the only problem i have is them being Co-Presidents. i dont think that will work. but aslong as they get things done who cares....Just dont pay Messi's 150M Euro price tag.

so next season any/all/none of these people could be at the Madrid.

Coaches: Sven-Goran Eriksson, Carlo Ancelotti, Arsene Wenger, Fabio Capello, Bernard Schuster, Vicente Del Bosque

Players: Juan Roman Riquelme, Cesc Fabrégas, Xabi Alonso, José Antonio Reyes, Joaquín, Kaká, Zlatan Ibrahimovic

thats 6 coaches, 1CF, 2WF, 3AM and 1CM. No LB's, no CB's, no real DM's!!!!!

i'd get, either: Del Bosque or Wenger + Riquelme, Jaoquin, Carvalho/Gallas, Yaya Toure and promote others from Castilla. and make the coach Director aswell.

vote for me!!!

I am sure that Wenger is VM-Saniz's first choice but he is impossible to get. It is rumored that Villar-mar has a guy in London trying to get Wenger to join but I doubt he will leave Arsenal. Add Laudrup as a possilbe coach too. ;) I am sure these guys have CB,DM, and LB's in mind but remember they dont win elections:( Did you see the reaction of a lot of people as soon as one guy says he wants to bring Kaka? Anyway I am sure they all have other players in mind but of course the big name attacking player will get people to look at them.

Villar-Mir along with Lorenzo Sanz are the 2 candidates I would never vote. Villar-Mir is Floren 2 (paying 150 m € for a kid, WTF?) + I don't believe in the manager role, if the man isn't Wenger, and he's no way leaving Arsenal (what if we change the coach in 2 years? Each coach shouldn't have his own squad); and Sanz is the man who filled his pockets with money before he left (a complete gangster).

According to the polls now the race is led by Calderon and Palacios (watch out Palacios, his candidature has just been unveiled, so people still don't know much about him, but still is already in second place :O )

Here are the links for the electoral programs of the different candidates (spanish). Still no Sanz.

Arturo Baldasano: http://www.realmadrid.com/articulo/programa_31658.htm

Ramon Calderon: http://www.realmadrid.com/articulo/programa_31662.htm

Villar Mir: http://www.realmadrid.com/articulo/rma31637.htm

Juan Palacios: http://www.realmadrid.com/articulo/programa_31644.htm

Some lookalikes :D

Well I like what Saniz says more in thier group and if I understand it right Villar-Mir will only be there for the first 2 years than Saniz will takeover as the only president right? Villar-Mir praises the way that Floren improved our economy but Saniz is quick to show where he went wrong. Also if they get picked I think the next coach will have more than 2 years, they say they want a long term plan ( I am thinking more than 2 years ). I dont think Saniz will allow him to go after Messi for that much ( plus the coach would be the one to decide who to bring ). Oh and Sanz is an asshole and should get no votes.

Those polls are kind of scary...Sanz in third :nape: Although it is an open poll so its not really who the socio's favor but still. Also Palacios wants Camacho as his sports director...will he run away again. He also wants a bunch of other former RM players to be in the club Pirri will work with Camacho, Del Bosque will be coach, Garcia Remon will run cantera, and Michel will coach Castilla.

BTW, nice pics haha:D
