Yes but Ballack is an offensive midfielder, and that's not what you want.

Ballack is not just an offensive midfielder. He has good defensive skills and would partner Gravesen in the middle. When we have the likes of Zidane, Figo, Raul, Solari, etc. in midfield, then Ballack would not be an offensive midfielder.

It'd sort of be like:

----------------Gravesen--------
--------Ballack-------------------
---Beckham-------------Zidane---

See what I mean, Vince?

I didn't know Liverpool asked for that much. Still, he's four years older and has only one year left in his contract.

Ballack is used the best as a classic No. 8 with one playmaker in front of him and a defensive midfielder backing him up.

How the **** am I supposed to hate Real Madrid if one of my favourite players wears their jersey? :(
