[B]Spain move league games to prepare for World Cup playoff[/B]
MADRID, Oct 14 (Reuters) - Spanish football authorities have rescheduled the league matches originally due to be played on Nov. 9 in order to allow the national team to prepare for its World Cup playoff against Slovakia.
The Spanish Football Federation and the Football League agreed to move the league matches to Oct. 26, allowing coach Luis Aragones to have more time to prepare his side for the first leg of the playoff at the Calderon on Nov. 12.
The fourth round of the King's Cup will now be played on Nov. 9, but any teams still involved in the competition that supply players for the national side will be able to reschedule their matches for Nov. 30.
