Im listening to Spain's friendly in Radio Marca and they've mentioned a couple of times now that Madrid signed Woodgate from Newcastle and that tomorrow Marca will have the info about him.

They say he is the defender to give the team balance. Cannavaro could be a starter and Woodgate could be a sub. Although 15m sounds crazy.

Hey, if this whole Woodgate to Madrid storie is true he would be an excellent player to have on the bench, hes about 24 and a brilliant defender, the only reason he's not in the national team is cause of injury and sol and rio's partnership is excellent

Woodgate is world class. He is far better than Terry, and he's more consistant than Ferdinand. But he is injury prone. He would be a better long term signing for Madrid, it would be 15m well spent. Cannavaro can only play for so long before his legs start tiring, but Woodgate (in full fitness) is still far young. And his wage demand is probably far lower too.

Woodgate is class when fit, but he aint no "galactico".

I know how u feel, i'm not totally for having one team dominated by foreigners. I'm not racist but i dont like the way teams are developing under foreign coaches. I thought the end of Houillier's french legion would die but now it is being replaced with Benitez's spanish team.

I like the influence a few foreign players in a team brings to the league (eg Henry, Pires, Vieira) but too many sucks for English football and the future of the national team.

I'll say it again though, i'm not racist in any way.

hahahaha (H) he would ruined his career moving to Inter, like his countrymen Almeyda, Kily, Julio Cruz and probably, Cambiasso :( (he will be the sub of Davids or Veron)... and i think he will prefer being Zizou substitute, rather than an Inter player :mrpimp:
