Let me be the voice of reason here, if Real buy Mascherano or some quality defensive midfielder like him, it will very tough for Juve to win.

It's all the regular, annual January transfer rumors.

Barcelona will make a move for a striker, just like they went and got Davids for DM last season, and Atletico have already added Jesper Gronkjaer this year.

Perez simply does not get January reinforcements, never has, and probably never will.
