Foi roubadinho, sim senhor. O jogo todo.
- Nunca mais aquilo é atraso.
- Quaresma para a rua na 1ªparte, nem sei como o M.Veloso continuou em campo.
- Bosingwa tivesse levado amarelo na primeira parte naquela entrada sobre o Veloso, já estava na rua na segunda parte depois do amarelo.
Engraçado como a imprensa abafou isto.
De qualquer forma, admito que talvez a haver um vencedor seria o FCP. Não faz mal, em Alvalade até vos comemos.

That play where Polga passes to the GK/moves the ball away from the attacker is doubtful, I admit.
But I have to point this out - since there could by doubts wether it's a pass or not, an international goalkeeper like Stoikovic should've just kicked the ball away, this isn't amateur football, you know? That was a schoolboy mistake.
You want to complain, complain to Paulo Bento for saying he'd go to the Dragão to win, etc. and then when the time comes he goes there to try and grab a draw.
I'm saying this and I even like Sporting better than Porto, but for me Porto did deserve to win.

And yeah Stojkovic was an ass. I remember watching the game and saying "XUTA", and suddenly he grabs it...of course I went nuts. Now imagine when I saw it wasn't a good decision from the ref...

Anyway, onto what matters the most: we finally won in the Liga and had a pretty good display! Cardozo scored 2, Rui Costa had another superb classy goal, Di Maria showed his enormous talent and both Maxi Pereira and Cristian Rodriguez are good additions to the squad. There's still a lot of work to be done, but with time and also players coming from injury, I think we can only get stronger and finally start becoming a true team, producing quality football.
the three "grandes" won as expected
sporting won and was the best team. i didn't see the whole game but from what i saw sporting was clearly better. the penalty was clear but as for the red card i'm not sure... in benfica's game there was an equal situation and the red only showed a yellow card. but anyway, by the way the game was heading i think sporting would have won even withou costinha being sent off
liedson scored again with a fantastic header and brought justice to the game
porto crushed leiria and didn't even have to play that well. i don't think this leiria will eliminate leverkusen unless hey improve a lot. regarding porto, they're in great shape, won the 3 games against the teams which had won against porto last year and are ahead of the superliga. quaresma isn't playing well and adriano is injured but porto has managed to win the matches. the player that is impressing the most is meireles, his fitness and condition are impressive he runs the whole game as if it as only started.
in my opinion the ref had no influence in the game. porto's 2nd goal was illegal but bosingwa's wasn't so it made no difference
benfica, hasn't played well yet but in the 2nd half we already showed some good football. nacional didn't look strong as in past years but they have good player i think they'll improve. di maria and cardozo played well but for me the best players on the pitch were petit and rui costa. 1st win, i think things will start to run better on the championship, now the team is estable and will only improve but there's much work to be done
maritimo is surprising me but i doubt they'll be able to keep it up, although they have good players and an experienced manager

I replied so harshly previously because I'm sick of hearing sportinguistas always playing the victims when it comes to refereeing. Last week, I also thought it wasn't an "atraso", so you have reasons to complain. But in the Supertaça the ref forgave a penalty against you. And also, there is no way the situations of Stojkovic and Costinha yesterday can be compared, even if they both aren't "atrasos". In the Porto game, you can still have some doubt, because the ball went straight to Stojkovic, but yesterday the ball was clearly going out and Costinha went to get it...

That is a penalty. End of. The GK contacts the player after failing to go there first...it is a penalty. Even if it wasn't, Sporting deserved to win the game. These guys come to Alvalade saying they want to win and try to secure a draw. Bitches.
