the key does lie in the past though, for many years Benfica was basically the only portuguese team known abroad and the most supported in Portugal...around the 80s things started getting more "even".

Virgo i quit going to those kind of foruns long time ago, specially Record because u only find club haters from both sides, those discussions takes nowhere, u only find people exchanging stupid arguments, insults, nonsense comments, and going to other clubs news and topics just to piss and criticize! And they go over and over the same old stuff for pages and pages...

really bad deal for Porto if this goes through with these values. Quaresma is worth more than that already and he's still 23, he can still get better.
I hope it is though, Porto will be weakened. Quaresma carried Porto on his back last season, last year's best player in the league IMO, proving to be a game decider lots of times when the Porto team struggled to score goals.
