Paul Murray já começou a ambientar-se a Aveiro e já escolheu habitação, com a ajuda da esposa que também já se encontra na cidade. Nos primeiros dias aproveitou para conhecer a cidade e gostou do que viu. «Uma cidade bonita», refere.

Uma das primeiras visitas que fez foi ao novo Estádio Municipal. «É muito bonito, com muitas cores. Vai ser muito interessante jogar lá».

O médio inglês que gosta «de trabalhar muito no meio campo, de apoiar o ataque», está satisfeito por trabalhar com Mick Wadsworth. «Vou revê-lo, depois de trabalhar com Mick no Southampton e no Oldham. É um bom treinador».

Os objectivos do médio inglês, que teve algumas presenças na selecção B do seu país, é chegar a um lugar na UEFA. «Gostava muito de ajudar o SC Beira-Mar a ir a uma competição europeia. Qualquer jogador sonha em entrar na UEFA».

It's great to see that kind of attitude, because it's a realistic goal for our team to go to UEFA, we have the defence and attack to do it, and last season our midfield wasn't working too well, so it's great to have a new midfielder. Best of luck for Paul Murray in Aveiro! :)

minto was ****e.... Brian Deane was like a Fernando Aguiar clone but he did score goals which is the most important thing.

Pembridge was useless.

Bryan Dean - This was a clumsy striker who gave a cup to Benfica gainst FCPorto didnt he? only good thing he has done?

Dean Saunders - a almost retired forward from wales i guess! didnt do much!

Mark Pembridge - this one was ok, one of the best from the group i think!

Michael Thomas - this was the Fernando Aguiar clone wasnt it? a bit worse!

Please don't be so harsh with Aguiar comparing him to Thomas. :crazyboy:

Thomas was the worst Benfica player ever. maybe followed by King and Tavares...

Deane scored goals and specially that in Alvalade when he passed Marco Aurelio. :p
