Yes he did, but the defender wasnt quite being gentle with Lisandro either! He was grabbing him and Lisandro was pushing him to get loose!

Though this was a one way game and i'm sure you don't believe that changed the whole game script!

Pepe is the MAN!!! I believe many still prefer Luisão but this "black sheep" (yes i once "bashed" Pepe too) is amazing me!

Agreed. I mean, Pepe's a good player for sure, but c'mon we have promissing young portuguese players such as Zé Castro and Manuel da Costa which I personally rather see getting a shot at the senior NT.

It's not as if we're in such a need for CBs - Carvalho and Andrade are a world class defensive duo. And we have Ricardo Rocha (in great form), Fernando Meira, Tonel, etc.

I agree aswell. I don't wanna see Pepe at the NT for a couple of reasons:

1st: He is ugly like hell
2nd: He's not Portuguese
3rd: He likes to kiss Scolari's ass to get a NT spot

Yeah, that would be too good to be true... Unfortunately, the fact is Manuel Fernandes doesn't want to play at Benfica, so he would be doing nothing here. Besides, Mais Futebol says that if Portsmouth doesn't sign him, he'll be negotiated with another club anyway.

but, since he doesn't want to play with us, he can kinda f*ck off really, i really liked him, but now he's revealing a miguel's side, lack of commitment and just another ambicious player putting money in front of his future promising career and in front of the club that made him who he is.

well, he either leaves for a good amount of money or he stays, and if he don't wanna play, he can **** off and wait 3 years until his contract run out,

or he change his mentality, either way, i'm disapointed with him
