Ten minutes later he was still talking about other completely irrelevant subjects instead of answering.

But it was touching the way he described his everyday life in detail :|

according to "o público":

FIFA SUSPENDS PORTUGUESE FOOTBALL

well, i still don´t believe it. on the other side, i am afraid that the gil vicente socios decide to keep the protest in civil court, in a typical "portuguesito" mentality (as their president) like "oh, we can fall, then everybody will fall with us". that would be too bad... :|

i also think that fifa are a band of fascists idiots! if the FPF suspends gil vicente, how can FIFA ban portuguese teams, punishing all for the "crime" (yeah, that is questionable too....) of one single club?!?!

Can't beleive the future of Portuguese club and NT football is in the hands of a few supporters of a tiny, happy-not-to-be-relegated, club like GV :nape:

I have an awful feeling they're gonna be selfish assholes and ruin it for everyone.. remember "Gilista" who used to post here? If the rest of that team's supporters are the same type of retard as that guy, then we're f*cked..

I can't find any logic in it...Why the heck should our NT, Porto, Sporting and Benfica be so severely punished if none of these are in any ways involved in this matter. It makes no sense at all. If it happens it would be the most unfair decision I have ever seen from Fifa.

I think I'm getting confused here...

Ok, so now that GV has been offically suspended by the FPF, can FIFA still suspend the national team and other clubs? I've read that it's now only between GV and the courts and the rest are safe, but I'm still hearing here and there that full FIFA suspension is still a possibility..?

The logic is that this particular case will serve as an example in the event that the same course of happenings take place in clubs internationally.

In other words, it sends out a message to clubs from all federations that football law is meant to be decided judicially within FIFA policies and it is not meant to be bounded or decided by civil court decisions regardless of the events that took place.

In all honesty, FIFA threats to ban all international play including the CL and the seleccao is a smart move, because honestly, had they not, who the phuck would take their rulings seriously? no one.

Answering to your question who would take the rules seriously, if they severly punish Gil Vicente they will take it seriously, believe me. And by that they'd convey the message that infractors get punished severly and don't get away with it.

No need to punish the entire football nation, who have nothing to do with that FFS.
Punishing or threatening to do so to other clubs and even a NT is just abuse of power, because they know they're decisions can't be contested.

At this point I sincerely hope the FPF just kills Gil Vicente as a club and puts an end to this nightmare.. I doubt many outside of Barcelos will care, not when the CL and Euro is at stake.

LMAO the mere fact of imagining Areias wearing the Juventus shirt is pure gold
