Just came back from the game. Not that it would matter that much, but did Sá Pinto dive on the penalty? In the stadium it sure looked like he did, and that caused a bit of a riot where I was standing, since there were a good number of 'lagartos' mixed in between... 
Only a Boavista playing superbly could have made a contest out of this. When Sporting gets it on, they really get it going. Fortunately, they frequently don't. And they have Ricardo. And Hugo.

Eder touched sa pinto's foot... but it wasn't a reason for the 2nd yellow on Eder.
Is it me or this Boavista team is very soft? they don't play as a team no more, but as a group of players who are there just to run a bit and to get their salaries without caring that much for the team.
Liedson would die in the pitch if Tiago could had fouled him somewhere in the game...

Well the ref sucked, the penalty was a dive but thats life. It doesn't matter Sa Pinto, Rui Jorge, and William got red carded in the tunnel and will miss at least 1 game, along with 3 reds during the game the ref made Porto and BeiraMar task easier for next weekend
I guess Sa Pinto punched a Boavita director in the tunnel, and to top off this fine game Sa Pinto and Rogério were half hour late for there anti-doping test.

Since Hugo Almeida arrived in Bessa, Pacheco's fav playing style is: long ball to Hugo's head, who deflects it into a winger's path. That's it.
I haven't seen the old Boavistão this season - and I've been to 5 home games already. Shinji is right, they're a bunch of softies now; if Tiago wasn't there Boavista would not commit fouls at all! Carlos Martins' goal is a good example: just 2 years ago, the defenders would have knocked him down in the midfield, no hesitations...
About the ref, we all know Lucílio is Bruno Paixão's caliber, and that says it all. Nobody likes him, I can't even say that he's clearly in favour of a club. Yesterday it was Boavista complaining, but all clubs have something to say about this moron.
And does he love the 'Superliga foul' or what? You know, when a player is about to be tackled and dives to the floor at minimum contact?
Oh, and good old Sá is throwing punches again? I wonder if the fact that he has already been there at least once will have any effects on his punishment...
Well, we better win the game against Marítimo! Sporting is highly motivated by their two last league results, so if we lose points, they will almost be in a situation were they will only depend on themselves, because they will still have the game against us. Also, there's still Braga and Porto very close. I hope everybody (supporters, staff and especially players) understands that our advantage at this moment isn't huge, if we slip one or two times, it's over... Euphories won't get us anywhere. So, I hope we don't lose our focus, coolness and determination, and do our job: do everything to win all the games we have left.

the ref sent Eder and William off, so he made Porto's task harder
*props to William for this match, though, his best this season... but still let in 4...

Thank you for your concern, but my posts usually get replies.
Nobody agrees with me, I usually am trashed by everybody, but that's because I'm the only sportinguista that posts regulary around here, so my opinions conflicts with everybody's else.
But that's fine by me, as long as I'm capable of defending my club, sometimes poorly, other times more coherently (sp?).
