Boavista has so much luck

I'm going to stop attending Boavista's games. I seem to give them some sort of last minute luck. This time I was happy, though, since Guimarães isn't really my cup of tea.
[On a sidenote, funny how all White Angel's chants and flags were offensive - 'Boavista é merda', etc., while Boavista's claque was always funny and clean - 'Afonso perdoa-lhes pq eles são fracos', 'o vosso rival de xadrez é o Moreirense']

Still, Boavista's playing style is crap (reminds me of a certain city rival...) and they would be lucky to draw, let alone win the contest, as they did.

Hugo Almeida já é jogador do Boavista. A «apresentação» do avançado do FC Porto, cedido até final da época ao clube do Bessa, teve esta tarde lugar na presença de sócios axadrezados que não regatearam os seus aplausos.

Hugo Almeida vai vestir a camisola número 77 da equipa de xadrez. Com o presidente João Loureiro ausente, foi Carlos Piçarra, da administração da Boavista SAD, que procedeu à apresentação do jovem internacional.

«O Boavista está muito bem, não sei se os seus objectivos passam por ser campeão ou não mas estou preparado para tudo», disse na oportunidade Hugo Almeida.

Costumava escrever por aqui com o nick White-Fighter, mas nao sei porque tou impedido de o fazer... tenho lido o que se escreve, mas a este comentario tenho de responder, nao por quem la esteve que sabe o que se passou, mas por quem nao esteve que pode acreditar naquilo que o Infesta disse...

Primeiro deixo uma mensagem escrita por um boavisteiro no forum deles... " Fui ver o jogo com os meus amigos boavisteiros e tenho que dizer que fiquei triste apesar do Boavista ter ganho.
Triste não pelo resultado nem pelo futebol que o Vitória jogou a mais do que Boavista o que torna a sua derrota injusta. A sorte faz parte do jogo e o golo do Vitória (com os do Boavista) também é de bola parada.
Fiquei triste porque a claque do Vitória é fabulosa, gritou pelo clube durante o jogo todo e especialmente quando se viram a perder. Ganharam o meu respeito.
Os boavisteiros raramente se fizeram ouvir excepto no primeiro golo (que festejei entusiasmaticamente) e durante o intervalo. Infelizmente quando se marca o segundo golo, os adeptos do Boavista desatam a cantar "Guimarães é m****". Eu que estava a festejar de pé, sentei-me e não mais bati palmas.
Impressionamente como para puxar pela equipa não havia ninguém mas para insultar ouviam-se bem.
Achei também de muito mau gosto os insultos dirigidos aos jogadores do Porto quando chegaram ao Sheraton. A via é pública, e todos têm direito a estar lá. Lamentáveis cenas.
Saí contente pelo resultado e triste pelas atitudes dos adeptos boavisteiros (lembraram-me os SD quando gastam mais tempo a insultar o Benfica com aquele cântico nojento do que a incentivar a equipa). "

A seguir deixo-vos 18 videos daquilo que realmente se passou no Bessa... Orgulho Branco Penso que nesta altura ja nao restam grandes duvidas...

No entanto nao vamos esquecer que os tais grandes adeptos que o Infesta falou, foram atirar garrafas e dar pontapes ao autocarro do FCP, ao mesmo tempo que insultavam os jogadores, logo que acabou o jogo.

Espero que todos agora tenham percebido e visto o que realmente se passou no Bessa... uma vez que de historinhas da carochinha estou eu cheio.

A arbitragem nao merece sequer qualquer comentario.

lmao he grabbed the guy's leg when he fell to the ground. That move is clearly of someone who has really a LOT of experience. The ref had no way of seeing that and we only saw it because there was a camera right next to it. But it was still a penalty

Rumours in the press say that Mota is going to Sporting, Cláudio Pitbull to Porto and Nuno Assis to Benfica.

I didn't know Mota, so I don't know how he's like. About Pitbull, I saw him play for Grêmio a few times, he seems a pretty good player, very hard-working, but nothing extraordinary. Nuno Assis, although he's somewhat inconsistent, is a very good signing for us.

I can't understand why we're getting rid of players like Derlei and CA (brazilians) just to buy more brazilians whose quality is yet to be proven.
And why do they all have tag names like 'Fabuloso' and 'Pitbul'? Do we deserve that?
The expectations for these new guys are so low that even if they do moderately well I'll be happy.

Having said that, Pinto da Costa signed my copy of his book last week.
