The Polish Hooligans

It was yesterday at the Polish Cup final between Legia and Wisła. About 76 minute Legia's pseudo fans launched skyrockets and they started throwing them into the Wisła's fans sector. The rest you can see in the video below. Will this **** ever end?8|

It's probably the same bastards who were throwing concrete in Vilnius. :(

Then again, why were Wisla fans attacking the policianci who were trying to protect them?

Commentator said it best : Shame! Nothing to be proud of.

Funny how he said that Love means something different to each person... :D

Simple Solution: Eliminate not just those persons but the essential concept of Ultras, and not just in Poland, but across the whole of Europe. A Cop died in Italy for these "pseudo-fans" passion for their team expressed through violence :|

naw the hooligan problem in poland is muuuuch worse than wat kicked off in manchester thanks to those scummy rangers huns (up the tic). The hooligan problem in poland seems like it wont ever fade away, which is truly a shame, because of the rising success of their national team and the successes of domestic teams lik Wisla. As long as firms and barraclavas remain as a big part in the club's activities and especially matchday preparations, this will be the norm in poland. Although, i must say, it makes for sum good entertainment if, say, a cracovia-wisla match gets a bit lopsided. Last, it takes away from the Ultras' phenomenal shows, tifos and the like. I think Poland has trumped Italy's tifosos. Best ultra shows i think are from Jagiellonia Bialystock, Wisla, Legia & Lech. ite thats all for now...

Ytf do you need to bring this up here? Hooliganism in Poland is nowhere near the level most people think it is and yet you have to start a thread about a minor accident in a TVN-like supersensational style.

i think ur jaded mihalll, its bad enough and this is no small incident, if poland rele wants to be a major footballing country theyd should be able to prevent nething lik this from happening at a top cup competition or league matches.

Don't blow it off proportions, there were many reasons why this happened, most importantly it was a big mistake to play the final in Belchatów. There will always be hostility between fans you just need to make sure you can control them. Incidents like this are very rare in Ekstraklasa games.

How does the choice of venue for a match affect whether there would be rioting or not? 8|
