The Pianist

It is kind of old, but the best movie I have ever seen to be honest. I liked it a lot. I saw it when it first came out. What do you guys think?

Know anywhere I could.....watch it for free...

I think this is a poor attempt of a thread :p

but yeah, great movie. Polanski is awesome and just yesterday I was talking with someone about how Adrien Brody won the Oscar thanks of Polanski's direction. Brody has been from ok to really bad in the few other movie's he's been in since The Pianist.

his upcoming movie, The Carlos*et, looks like it could be ok but it having Kiera Knightley is not a good sign :(

2nd best film about the holocaust of all time.

The best actor oscar should have gone to Daniel Day Lewis despite The Pianist wiping the floor with GONY.

Looks like an alright movie from the trailers and such. Having Keira Knightly in it is certainly not a bad thing, a bit if eye candy. who doesn't want it..

Assuming first is Schindler's List, there's a British film called Conspiracy which you really should watch, it's a Kenneth Branagah film and in my opinion the second best holocaust film, with The Pianist coming in third.

Who won Best Picture over The Pianist. I really liked it because they showed the Holocaust and WW2 in such a small scale.

Yeah, The Pianist is a great movie. I rented it before the Oscars to see what all the fuss was about and it was brilliant. I agree with Virgo, I also think its the second best Holocaust film, Schindler's List being the best of course.
