Ok, I have an external CDRW (HP cd-writer 8200f series) and it came with RecordNow and HP DLA< which worked/work fine for me. Now, i got Nero Ultra Edition (6.3.0.3) and it just doesnt see the drive. It can only burn my CDs/VCDs/Audio CDs etc. to the virtual drive it creates. When I try to copy the information (of a VCD) on the virtual drive with record now, It tells me (after finishing 100%) that the info here is different than the previous information, and cacnels my burn. (Today, thats 6 blank CDs down the drain :() anyway, how on earth do I get Nero to see my External CDRW?? I have no idea...Ive searched round the net on google, and cant find anything of use... Please help!!

I have had trouble with Nero too - try Iomega HotBurn or WinCDR.

Or go back to an older version of Nero.

Yeha, i've got Nero 6.0.something. Also, try seeing if there is an updated version of the driver available for the externel drive.
