Well what can I say :kader:

You couldn't get the ball off us in the first half and I really thought we would win it.

The Deflection off Zura Killed us and we really played poor after that and we could have lost two or three nil if it hadn't been for the greatest goal keeper in the world and Henning Berg.

We lack a hitman and that showed as we really didn't cause hedmann any trouble.

Celtic had a great 8 Man Defence and we didn't have much hope off beating it today

Well Done Celtic we'll get you next time!!!

We'll just need to look forward to beating ManUre :rockman:

Right! now everything's calmed down here's my thoughts.

Rangers started the game well but passed the ball to death without really troubling Celtic. To my mind they played very much like Lyon did against Celtic on Tuesday. Arteta was excellent early on but was a little bit naughty with his arm across Petrov's cheekbone. Khizanishvili has been accused by the more bitter opposition fans of being a "Basketball player". As if to live up this reputation he was booked for his 5th foul of the game. Henning Berg was majestic for Rangers along with the ever-excellent Klos.Just as well for Rangers as Craig Moore was dreadful and Michael Ball hardly got a kick. It also looks like the debate has been settled as to who is quicker, Agathe or Lovenkrands. After 11 minutes after having failed to go past Agathe on the outside, Lovenkrands came inside to try and run between Lennon and Sutton instead. John Hartson admitted that the goal was lucky. He tried to square the ball across to Larsson but the ball hit Khizanishvili on the arm and spun high above Klos and into the net. Celtic's main men today were Petrov, Agathe, McNamara(the only Scotsman on the field) and Man of the Match Sutton, playing at centre back which he used to do so well for Norwich City all those years ago. It also struck me that the big match atmosphere frightened the life out of Capucho and to a lesser extent Emerson. I got a bit nervous when Celtic had to take Alan Thompson off in the first half but substitute Michael Gray looked very solid.

A deserved win in the end for Celtic and Magnus Hedman had his easiest game in a Celtic jersey.

Craig Moore wasn't dreadful, he done his job and is just back from an Injury or was as he got subbed at half time as he wasn't 100%

And the only point I agree on is that Capucho was CRAP - The only bad signing so far from Big Eck IMO

BTW Rangers_1873 For the record I personally don't think Khizanishvili is a "Basketball player". What I said about his 5 fouls was a wee joke based on the rules of basketball.
