Playing at BMO is like playing in a different league. The away teams are never prepared for such an athmosphere. Argos should learn from them, instead of paying to people to sign cheers to get the crowd going.

Good game all in all. Nice 3rd goal by Robertson I think, (my picture aint that great), nice header.

Man some of those Dallas players have a bit of an attitude problem though. Ruiz moans a hell of a lot about everything. Also I was surprised at how physical the game was. I liked that.

The ref was a bit card happy, but I gather he has a reputation for that.

So nobody has mentioned that Buddle got traded. I thought I'd mention it to add to the cheerful mood of today's thrashing of the Texans.

Apparently Buddle bagged a goal today for his new team, LA Galaxy, LOL.

I for one, am very pleased with what Mo has done with the squad. He's not afraid to make moves to get the players he wants and he has the team playing very well for each other and the fans. The players really love the support and they show their respect to us at every chance they get during the games.

The Buddle trade is a perfect example... the guy has talent, and maybe now that he's in LA he'll do better, but he wasn't right for us so we got a veteran defender to help shore up our weakest area and also who will allow Brennan to move to left-mid and have Andy Welsh coming off the bench, where he should be more effective.

The move he made for Cunningham is paying off and Cunny (love it ) has two goals over the last two games and yesterday really could have had 3.

Once he gets a few more under his belt and takes some of the pressure off of himself I think he's going to go nuts. Him and Dichio really seem to play well together.

Yeah Cunningham looks a good prospect. Who was the player who set up the first goal. He took it to the line, turned a defender inside out and crossed the ball? That was a class piece of football right there. Thats the stuff I like to see alright.

Man I laughed when Dallas had a corner and the fans bombarded the corner taker with red and white ribbons. Hahahahaa, fu<king hundreds of them floating all around him. That was pretty funny. The fans really enjoy themselves and it's obvious that it helps drive the team on.

Cunningham's actually an MLS veteran and third all-time leading scorers who is closing in on the 100 goal mark. So I would say he's not so much a prospect as a proven commodity, while Eskandarian, who we traded for Cunny, is a prospect who had yet to prove himself.

As to the streamers, we do that all the time :amika:
The team actually encourages us by having the staff give back any rolls which haven't completely unravelled so we can toss them at the next corner

EDIT: Forgot to mention.... the best part of the match on Saturday came in the 24th minute, when we always sing the Danny Dichio song as a tribute to him scoring the first ever goal in the history of the club when all of a sudden, in mid-song, he scored!!!! I screamed myself hoarse and had no voice for any of my meetings today

It sounds like you had a great day mate. I remember going to Barnet, ( my local team now), while Danny Dichio was a player there. He's never been any different. Always gives 100% and is a pretty tough lad.

The streamers are impressive mate. Maybe we could replace the banned celery throwing at the Bridge with streamers instead. I'll have to see what I can do about that.:mexican:

No worries on that! I love the fact that you've taken an interest in the league and are making the effort. Dichio is really the real deal over here. He has already bought a house and is already talking about getting into coaching over here when he hangs up the boots. And his balls-out style has made him the absolute favourite of the crowd at Fortress BMO.

Well I actually started to get into the MLS mainly because I made all the kits for Fifa, so I sorta followed all the clubs as the league grew over the years. I never really rooted for any particular team though. Each team seemed to have at least a couple of players that were worth watching so I pretty much watched what I could of all the clubs, but yesterday was the first time that I actually cheered to see the goals go in.

I also appreciated the crowd involvement and their humour and enthusiasm. It was obvious they were up for a laugh. I caught the vibe off that.

Thats what its like at the Bridge when me and my mates get together there. We love the football but we always have a laugh too 'cos thats an important part of the day as well.

So I guess I'll have to adopt one team from the MLS. So far it looks like TFC might be it. I suppose I should nail my colours to the mast pretty soon though because if I wait until Toronto begins to win everything in sight, I could get labelled a gloryhunter, and I wouldn't want that.:funny:
