I agree with you. There isn´t a "midfield work" in this game, maybe is the attack settings at individual settings. And otherwise, is much great.

Im not going to bother with it if its got the same speed issues as the last one.

Go near to the corner zone, make a perfect center (long pass 2 times, quickly), and press shot...perfect head goal. Try it with a good header striker.

Any idea how to turn the grainy pitch effect off? It's killing my eyes... I have the feeling that everything is in small dots, and when playing with Wide cam, the players look blurred, like the edges of their bodies blend with the terrain.

I installed the time patch and am liking it alot now. Maybe I'm used to the speed now but it seems ok now. But I won't be buying this for the PC but will get it on Xbox instead. I remember last year the PES3 demo ran beautifully but the full version was full of slowdown.

Corners are better this year. Last year I could score off too many corners. In fact the whole crossing/corners system seems to have improved. The more I play it I notice these improvements. Still there are too many passes off the outside of the foot but really it doesn't effect gameplay. Can't wait for the full version now.

The speed of the game might be up for some ( I think its ok)

But what about the speed of players in a sprint?

I have played as Italy and hitting sprint seems to send the player into a canter (hands off sprint, its a walk) sprint of players even with 86 seems slow?

By the way, it would be unfair to note one excellent improvement in PES4.

In PES3, if your player collected a high ball, the computer player would immediately close in and snatch the ball away. On the other hand, if the computer player was about to control the high ball, your player would stand back, relax, become a spectator and remain still until the cpu player was all set to run away with the ball.

It was, obviously, very annoying.

And, it has, very thankfully, been completely removed in PES4.

Now, if the cpu player is going for a high ball, my player can run in and if the cpu player's first touch is bad, my player can run out with the ball.

Oh yeah, a MAJOR flaw. It spoils it so much for me. Center of the pitch seems to be abandoned. I wouldn't be surprised to see some junkies standing around firing burrels, warming their hands while on my way to oppositions penaltu area. Geezes..
There's so many other cons that makes this demo unbearable, but I'll wait for full release to give my few cents. This demo is so craptastic that It's hard to believe Konami builded it. Maybe it's some kind of leaked ultra-castrated bastard version. I sure hope so.

to get midfielders forward put their forward runs on and stop them from making backward runs.
its auto set for back and forward runs,dunno why.

Great game Overrules fifa2005, but Pes2 already owned fifa2005

The only thing FIFA is still better in is the pitch, looks ugly...

just played a few matches,and I´m pretty much pleased with the game.It really looks a good improvement on PES3,and even the commentary seems to be more bareable.This game,with a good patch,will be a treat to have.Also,i cant wait to play some of you guys online,should be really fun.
Btw,is it just me or is this game more difficult?i´m having some trouble winning even at 3 stars...

Trouble winning at 3 stars? really?

Jeeez, I find the demo waaay to easy. Even on 5 stars the CPU can't create any chances, they're just too easy to defend against.

I'm hoping this is just a demo problem...


I should also mention I'm crap at the game, everytime I play another human I lose...

If people are having difficulty on 3 stars than I wonder if the difficulty varies on different computers?? Because I suck and it should not be too easy on 5 stars for me!!
