well, another disappointing result ... but what's worse is that the organization and tactics seemed non-existent for the 20 minutes I actually watched ...

if you believe the murmurs, it looks like Antoine Kombouaré out, Carletto in! :O

been a month since my last post in here, coz of the draft ... Jeremy Ménez has immediately clicked with Javier Pastore, and they've naturally become indispensable to the team -- 4 assists each already ...

their 5-match winning streak got snapped today ... it probably puts Kombouaré back on the bubble ...

another result or two like it, and ÇA VA CHIER, MOTHERF*CKER!

hah, tbh, I just want to see Carletto put in charge (H) ...

apperantly we are interested in Higuain, he's from Argentina, plays for River Plate, he was born in France but grew up there.

but the most amazing news is that Raymondo is keen to call him up to les bleus :nape: , yay another bright move from our nt coach, pls continue misusing all of our strikers and add a kid (he's 18 or something) that has never played in europe.....

(H)

oh and yeah, seen a bit of the Salzburg game, nice display there. though Pastore wasn't on his best day I guess.

Carlo would be nice, yeah, but what PSG needs atm is silence and some patience. these last few years have been horrible for them, with managers coming and going, relegation battle, etc. now it finally seems that they have a good plan.

oh and it would be nice if we'd still have active topics (and fans lol) for clubs like this one. SG is all about Barca and United/Chelsea lately. I remember we had fans of OM, BvB, Sevilla, Galata, Ajax, PSV, Roma, Legia, Atletico, even Newcastle etc.

Sabella should realize that Pastore could create a similar conexion with Messi to the one with Cesc.

You mean where two amazing players read off each-other and make perfect runs/1-2s/passes to one another while in a free role altering positions?

The problem for Argentina is there is no Riquelme replacement, they never really control the game, I don't see Pastore as the solution for that.

Banega, Pastore, Lucho, Gago... Ricky Álvarez?... there's a lot of quality in the midfield, the main problem are the coaches.

Riquelme in his Villarreal form was a million times better than Banega and Lucho who are the only comparable to his all around play. Pastore and Alvarez are great at creating, but don't have his ability to control the tempo of the game and overall vision. Gago is more like defensive like Redondo, won't really create much. Argentina was fantastic in 2006 with Roman as the cerebro as he did with Villarreal.

I'm not comparing them to Riquelme. These players keep the ball and don't give it away, Argentina have potential to dominate every match and Messi to win them.

Too bad it's gonna be Arsène's job.
the concern with both is who they would spend all that Qatari money on ...

ANCELOTTI
first 5 signings: Maldini, Kaká, Pirlo, Gattuso, Seedorf
money spent: €0 (recalled retiree / loan / Bosman)

WENGER
first 5 signings: 5 young supple males from the arrondissements aged 16-17
money spent: €0 (Arsène personally picked them up in his car)

:borat:

Oh and tits.
LOL.. But if Arsene was to get the job the "self sustaining" bull**** he keeps on talking about would be gone. He says all that to protect the club. Its not like he wasn't interested in big name players... more like we missed out due to one reason or another. Another thing is Arsenal has always been like this with or without Wenger.

Rafa was the master at creating a carrousel of players coming in and out of Liverpool, I don't wanna know what he'd do at PSG with limitless funds.
