I can never forget the deft pass to Baptista. Class. Made it look as if he didn't want to pass to him.

Thanks for the three points in advance.

I'm inclined to celebrate in this thread. BUWAHAHAHAHA. Adebayor scored against you! Hahaha!

anyway, why didn't you buy Senna? Your midfield was ******* shocking today.

Why did SAF bench Carrick for Chr. sake :nape: another dumb move.
United should've won it with the chances Ronaldo had and Rooney so it's too bad but still Arsenal is way behind so no need to worry (yet) but Chelski won against Pool and that's not great (:/)

Because Fergie thought that he still had a chance to get Hargreaves. But it's wasn't even the problem. Our midfield is pretty good, as long as O'Shea stays the **** out of it. But today Fergie thought that having lost to Arsenal once in the last 9 EPL games was enough and decided to keep Johny on for full 90 minutes. The man just totally puzzles me sometimes, i bet Carlos had a few defensive suggestions too.

Is it me or were we more on the attack (especially in the first half) against Arsenal then the earlier matches against them. Normally we would be the one waiting for the break and they would be team with a lot of possesion. It's a dissapointing lose, but it isn't the end of the world, Liverpool and Arsenal are still miles behind us and we are level with Chelsea. Our run would have ended sooner or later, but it is dissapointing to be ended by Arsenal, I forgot to mention Kuscszak in my earlier posts, he was great today, it is a pity that we didn't defend better. I would be content with a draw. I think a 4-5-1 formation would've been effective today. I hope Rooney get's his form soon, because he will be needed in the games without Giggs.

because of the 5 players arsenal had in midfield,,and it worked,,o'shea played well made one bad mistake but was good so was flecther but he needs to bulk up.

The problem with Fletcher for me is not his build but his lack of pace. Attacks on the right hand side were pretty slow.

True but I felt he was not in the right attacking position quick enough. When the ball is passed to Rooney or Saha in the middle of the park and they want to lay if off to the wingers, it takes quite some time before Fletcher is there to receive the pass.

Whatever it is, we need to sort this midfield out.

Perhaps Scholes will get even better as he gets more games. I'm pretty happy with his contributions so far though.

Meanwhile, Manchester United skipper Gary Neville said Arsenal made his side pay for their sloppy play.

"We are disappointed. When you make mistakes in midfield they are as good as anybody in making you pay," he said.

"Our passing wasn't good and we looked tired. We gave the ball away too many times. We would have accepted 0-0. "We had two or three clear-cut chances, but didn't take them. They had three good chances too."

Arsenal dominated the first half, but they kept trying to walk the ball in the net. United were restricted to counter attacks untill the spell near half time where we bombarded them. The whole game smacked of United being complacent until they went behind and ran out of time. This has thrown away those rare dropped points by Chelsea so now we really have to stay on top form as our cushion has gone.

And yeah I couldn't understand why Fergie went with the lightweight Fletcher - carrick would have improved the midfield creatively and Evra could have played left wing with Ronny on the right.

Man I couldn't sleep, the defeat to Arsenal was hard, if we would've lost against another side, it wouldn't have hit me this hard, it is just the fact that we've lost to Arsenal which hurts. But no worries, I am sure that we will bounce back in the next few games. I was right about us playing differently yesterday against Arsenal, we tried to play our normal way against them, instead of trying to stop their passing game. That's why Scholes went off, he was tired, because of Arsenal's passing game, he chased the ball all over midfield. We need Rooney asap, I hope he can get his form soon, the suspensions have hit him, just when he showed his form against Fulham, he had to see out 4 matches

blunder 1: starts o'shea instead of carrick

blunder 2: subs scholes and rooney for carrick and ole, where as o'shea and fletcher wud have been better options.

fletcher played good today, but i take back what i said about o'shea playing good. he was total ****. we really could have lost by 3 goals today. when ole struck that ball, i was like yes, straight equaliser, only to see lehmann use his fingertips to get the ball away. the CB pairing isn't working, rio 's focus is whereever, only god knows, where as brown, has no awareness. neville was top class along with evra. ronaldo back to the olden days, and i hope against benfica he keeps his emotions in check.

1st full points dropped and feels like ****, its funny how the media has just said that we have dropped points and now chelsea is going to win the epl. pfff.
