i have seen people throwing prices around and i think most of us beleive that ruud needs to be sold to get money 4 other players,but the glazers did give fergie money and wat ever happened to the money for selling john obi mikel i beleive there was 10m in that deal so there should be enough to buy a player out of that i would think there is maybe 30m at SAF dispossal and if we did sell rudd for 17m that abouts 37m im sure we could get a midfeilder and a striker(Torres) and a back up midfeilder as we have scholes for this season no point him or a new signing sitting on the bench so i think this is the best way of filling in the positions we need and then next season replace scholes and bring in a keeper

there is diarra, but i think fergie needs to try and make a move for mascherano. **** duff cost 5m for newcastle! that's a ******* bargain!
if ruud goes, we need to snap up fernando cavenghi, this guy is equal and/or betta than tevez and robinho, he is 21 and a goal-scoring machine. he will cost around 10mill.

edit:also saw this on bbc channel just then, fergie has made a move for pirlo! so maybe this is why we have kept a low-key.

I heard that Torres won't be leaving with the group to Germany for pre-season training and that peepz are expecting that he will say that he will be leaving the club to us or Inter at the press conference

Javier Aguirre, first team coach to Atletico Madrid, has named 23 players for the tour to Germany and China. The named players for the Mexican coach are the following: Cuéllar, Antonio López, Galletti, Fernando Torres, Kezman, Maxi Rodríguez, Petrov, Valera, Gabi, Perea, Pablo Ibáñez, Luccin, Leo Franco, Falcón, Zé Castro, Agüero, Pernía, Costinha, Braulio, Miguel de las Cuevas, Azcárate, Seitaridis and Toché. Well it looks like BM is really set on getting RvN, now der Kaiser Franz personally told the media that they are in negotiationtalks but he is sure they will succeed in getting him. They are already busy to offload Makaay or Pizarro if that happens, HSV would be very interested in signing both.

Pirlo would be great. please... Not the fastest player and he may take some time adjusting to the speed of the Premier League, nevertheless he would be worth the bet. give me a good reason why he would leave Milan though.

I think I understand what type of player Fergie is looking for, he wants to bring in a player who can bring in the variety of play or playmaker, call it what you want, that's why we've been linked with the likes of Pirlo, Carrick etc, he doesn't have to be a hardman, such as Mascherano, Diarra, Gattuso etc....if I am right then I think that he is doing the right thing, our defence is strong enough, we've showed that the last couple of years, so having a hardman infront of the defence isn't a priority
