What the hell was that? We're playing a Milan side that's on top of their game and we seem to have forgotten the very basics. There's only one United player that's doing anything at the moment and surprisingly it's Fletcher. Ronaldo is being shut down and the defence seems to be laughable.
It also seems we were playing that stupid 4-5-1 formation again, we've switched to 4-4-2 now but even with our ability to score goals I fear it's beyond us now.
I haven't seen United owned this badly in the UCL since the Bernabeau in 2003!

we deserve to get our asses handed to us. 
I'm hoping for the miraculous comeback, but you can only have so many.

Good luck to liverpool, in spite it being liverpool I really dont want to see AC win it. There stalling tactics and that kicked in far too early.

We got outplayed and our defense made some pretty basic error.
But really, there isn't alot any team can do with the amount injury to our backline recently, so probably don't need to read too much into it.
What worry me more is that when Ronaldo has a quiet day, we basically resort to long ball and crosses. We need more (at least another) player that can run at a defence so that the opposition cannot afford to double team on Ronaldo.

I was hoping for a Man U - Liverpool final...oh well. As a neutral the Milan - Pool final should be very good too. Mates, don't hang your heads. You had agreat run but fact is that the difference in class tonight showed. Milan are so technically gifted and with Kaka in there (best player in the world, IMO), there's not much you can do. There is no shame in losing to Milan. They are just in a totally different class. A few additions for next year will surely see you this far or further in the CL next year. Enjoy thre league title mates.
Milan deserved to win. United were the architects of our own downfall. As I said before, I haven't seen us play that badly in Europe for years - And once again the only United player to emerge with any credit IMHO was Darren Fletcher, not a one of our big names stepped up tonight and frankly we deserved a hiding.
Good luck to Milan in the final, I honestly believe they deserve the title after a demonstration like that - plus I wouldn't mind them beating Liverpool,
