Ronaldo is a proven player in the EPL.
For how much longer, thats the question.Honestly I do not see a 'United' mentality and integrity in him.Best example has got to be Gaby Heinze. No longer first eleven, still a top notch player and when rumours about leaving surrounds him,he said "I wont leave United unless they want me to."

Agreed! Real would just **** him up just like they ****ed up Robinho etc.... They just don't realize how good Robinho can be with a decent trainer who can work well with youngsters, I am quite sure that he would flourish under SAF or Wenger. But hey... some managers have it and others don't

****ed up Robinho? How so? I don't think it's all Capello, he has blended Torres into a very nice fullback for us both on the right and left side. I think that a. Robinho has not fulfilled his ability yet b. it is still his second year with us and c. Capello is trying to play a formation that does not really suit Robinho ( playing him as a winger for instance becuse well, we don't have wingers )

Anyway C. Ronaldo can come to us with open arms ( or even to Barca, would imo do more harm than good to them ).

Ronaldinho in the EPL...ahhahaha I would love to see that. He won't get the calls that he gets in la liga right now. He would just complain 99% of the match with his arms waving up high looking to the ref for a call. You guys would be better off with C. Ronaldo who has adapted well to the EPL and not to mention he is younger.

The whole team is doing pretty well. Ronaldo is completely owning Reading from every corner of the field. Helping Heinze on the left, then Brown on the right, then running past everybody like in every direction in every acre possible.

Carrick's goal was a ******* beauty too! Ronaldo owned like 5 players before setting up Carrick.

Did anybody see Carrick dancing past 4 Reading players at half hour mark btw?

Cut the boy some slack. What do you mean you don't see "United" mentality in him? He gets kicked more than anybody in the EPL for 2 seasons and always comes back stronger and never afraid. Reyes got a few kicks and he ran off to Spain, now THAT'S non-"United" mentality. If Ronaldo wasn't committed he would have left in the summer when he had a great chance and a reason to leave, but contrary to what we all thought, he decided to stay and fight, which shows his true character. He is enjoying his game here, scoring goals right and left, why would he leave.

That's great for Heinze that he came out and said that, but do you really want Ronaldo talking to the english newspapers? It will only make things worse, he says "i'm not leaving" and the newspapers write "i'm staying till the end of the season". Fergie came out and said everything there needs to be said about Ronaldo, which is good enough with me because i know that newspapers can't take Ferguson out of context. Ronaldo is not a publicity man, he is even shy of post-game interviews, man. How much commitment do you want him to show? An uncommitted player would have on the contrary came out and said that he might move one day and he would love a different challenge. Speaking to the media only makes things worse.

Yeah I saw it, he got some skills up his sleeve, it is just amazing how he makes his passing look simple, Fletcher's passing has been quite good today, he is distributing the ball all over the place

How gay is that? We owned that, we had a perfectly legal goal dissallowed from Solksjaer, we had dozens of chances and i don't mean chances like shots outside of the box, we really had dozens of chances, at least 4 one on ones, many other supersaves from Federichi and still couldn't win.

At least its FA Cup, i'd rather draw there and then win, instead of drawing in EPL.

Why the hell didn't Saha pass to anybody in those dying moments? We've wasted so many chances it's unbelievable. Well a replay is our punishment.
Besides, why do random keepers produce great saves when they play against Man Utd?

Saha created his chance, and he is a striker. But he should have passed. I don't understand why Fergie took off Park instead of Carrick/Fletcher.

p.s. the goal we conceded was piss poor. it wasn't a vidic-like header or something. was some piss poor marking.

The worst possible result. A replay is the last thing the players need with a schedule that tight. Awful performance as well. Fletcher was absolutely non-existant yet he somehow got 90 minutes while Park was the most lively player on the pitch and he got taken off. Silvestre was his usual self and Heinze yet again awful, constantly finding himself on the wrong side of the strikers. Scholes, Evra and Larsson had to come on again, making the decision to rest them absolutely useless, and as ususal it was too late to save the game. Awful.

Oh and the pitch at OT is absolutely terrible, it looks like a ******* ploughland on a rainy day. I can't believe it isn't sorted out yet, the ****e teams that come to play long punt football wont mind though.

Well, that's a game we could have done without, especially 3 days before lunchtime clash at Anfield. Damn, if only Ronaldo scored that one on one, or Solksjaer's goal not dissalowed, or Saha passed, ahh **** it.

Dissapointing result, pity that we have to play them again, they are a tough team to beat. We played well today creating a lot of chances, but we just didn't have the finishing touch today, I result like this could be good for the boys, it will keep them focused,
