The two "goals" before that and the couple of chances after would suggest that there was good focus for pretty much the whole game. Portsmouth's goal seemed to be more of an lucky deflection than a drop in concentration anyway.

Rooney was a guy that scored both goals and he came on very fresh late on. However the team conceded a late goal yet again and that's a fact.

I would not argu the fact that we have conceded some goal's late on in some matches but last night it was like Stotty said no threath exept the mendes ping pong shot,no way to blame anybody for it exept Kanu who made it change direction.....shiite happens!

Who cares if it was a late goal, Man U had a 2 goal lead, something they didnt have against arsenal. More and more late goals are get scored.
Who cares if man U conceded late goals, Arsenal Defensive looks so bad any team could score at any time.

yeah pretty happy with the draw, could have3 been better like with a team like what chelsea got, but a home tie is always good and i think we shouldnt have too much trouble beating reading

Was a great game to be at, loved it. Vidic and larsons goal both looked like they went in from where we were sitting. pity is was disallowed, ref got some ribbing for that. Great game though.

Park & Giggs had great games also. Parks work rate was one to impress, pity he couldn't make that finish.

Rooney's goal was great, from where i was sitting looked like it was going right over, shocked when it dipped down :mexican: brilliant!

is smith still alive?

What do you lot think about David Gill's strong comment about not extending Larsson's contract? Could there be a new striker on the cards come summer? I'm pretty sure they somehow managed a deal with Hargreaves in the summer too.Our Number 10 is still vacant.Its only Larsson so far for January though with plenty other fledglings out on loan again,most noticebly Rossi,which could also means that Alan Smith will be back into the fold as the 4 man striking team.
