Better than Fletch, O'Shea or Giggs in that position at least. Carrick didn't show like he single-handedly controlled the game, but then again that's exactly how he played at Spurs. He would do things that were important, but you just didn't notice them, because he would get the ball straight to attack again and you would be too overwhelmed with the beginning of the new attack, rather then reflecting back on how Carrick created it.
