too offensive i think;with 3 attackers and Kewell playing attacking football but however the best defence is attack

Is Hamann going for sure? i have heard he wants to leave but Bayern doesn't want him

And I'm still waiting for Rafa to make a transfer
and Duff seems to be staying at Chelsea although Robben's arrival may make him lose first team action

As for your squad, I feel you have a great first 11 but not much width. Unless you sign someone I would be tempted to play this team (of course I don't know much abotu Liverpool, as I dont watch them an awful lot)

BTW How good was it to see Boggle eye's tap up another player onyl for his to sign an extension at his current club, and be critised for tapping up, when it was [according to Moyes] ok if it was Sean Davis or Savage, but not if it was Rooney!!!

Viduka, JFH, Gjonkjaer, Rommedahl, Milner, Smith, Heinze. They're all good players. If you consider a scale factor, Viduka for Boro is just as big for them as Cisse signing for us. So what I mean is that everyone is signing the best possible players they can get and strengthening their squads, except for us. I wouldn't mind seeing either Rommedahl or Gronkjaer at Pool to be honest.

Our ladies team don't really need "him" as they had a wonderful campaign last season and were promoted to the premier league... and as someone noted above, Forlan doesn't deserve a place in the Premiership....

El Boss is stamping his authority already, changing training times, which has come as a bit of shock to some of the lads.

He now has them in earlier in the morning that GH did, about 7:45ish for four hours, then gives them a break of 4 hours, then has them back in around 4 or 5 o'clock for another session, whereas previously they had an hour or two's break and were normally leaving about 4ish.

Although i would imagine this may be changed in the winter months, or it may even be a pre-season fitness thing, although Benitez is known for his high standards of fitness.

El Hadji has been described as a changed man, with a totally different attitude, apparently he's grown up a bit, whether its because he has had to is a question for debate.

A few of the players have been told that they are to find another club, Gregory Vignal being one of them

patience kader, patience. theres no point in rafa rushing things and buying any old player i think he'll get it right before the season starts. im a bit worried that we havent even been linked with any defenders, does anyone else think liverpools defense is awful?

Lad turned down a deal at Norwegian club Raufoss because "It was just a small town in the middle of nowhere". Havent seen him enough although he is generally categorized as one of those 'decent players' whose future lies away from Anfield.

It's nearly August and we have no strong links to anyone. Maybe Rafa is quiet like Wenger, and then signs players when no one expects it Or maybe we're just not signing anyone. But Gerrard was somehow convinced to stay, right?

completly agree Kader, cant wait for the friendly, mind you im not sure how I will be able to see it.... hmm, ill have to read the reviews.

Rafa has said he will definatly give some of the youngsters a chance, so by that im thinking Le Tallec, Pongolle, Welsh, Otsemobor so hopefully we'll be able to see how they can cope at the highest level.

I havent heard ONE decent rumour about a signing, the closest i heard was Mista but now he has crushed that by saying he wants to stay at the Mestalla, so with that gone I really have no clues as to who, if anyone Rafa may sign
