I'll have a look. Cheers. I used to go to Koptalk but there's too many wankers there these days. Heard anymore on the Anelka front? I read that French media are saying we're in talks.

Oh thats nothing compared to the offal. You could burst a vein just by scanning the topics at any given time. :o

I'm really hoping we land both Nico and Morientes. Although with Xabi's and Kewell's ...........(oh wait) and the in form Riise's injuries, :( I'm not sure how we're going to come up with the cash. Been watching for anything on the investment front, all seems rather quiet although I wouldnt be surprised if any deal has been struck and we're just keeping it quiet for as long as possible as it would inevitably cause the values of any potential transfer targets to rocket.

Yep, the injuries are beyond a joke. I swore when Xabi got injured and think that I may have even invented some new 'special' words when Riise also got hurt. As far as the investment goes, I've heard that Kraft's interest has cooled, and as I'm sure you're aware, Steve"groundshare" Morgan has pulled out. This makes it all a little worrying, but on the other hand Moores and Parry keeping it under their hats would make sense as 'crying poor' might help in bargaining for our transfer targets, I agree with you there.

Prob. be back for the trip to Norwich. Just a dead leg from that knock he took. He had ultrasound treatment after the match, but other than that he appears to be fine. Thank Christ for that eh.

Shut up.

Do the hours upon hours those players have trained as children, and as pros mean nothing because they now play at a club Roman Abramovich purchased? Go back to when other clubs purchased big, do the maths on the value of the average player, inflation, how much a pound was worth and plenty of clubs have done it.

A prime example of a club purchasing big is Blackburn in 1994/95, doesn't mean those players didn't earn it. Now enough of your crap. Fergie broke the transfer record 5 times before Man Utd won the title and we know Fergie is a class manager after his time at Aberdeen, and Mourinho has done similar things at Porto and Chelsea, well not similar but links and comparisons can be made on how these two managers started their careers.

blackburn were not taken over by a billionaire, they took risks. risks that didnt REALLY pay off cause they got shíte after winning the league (H) look this is just my opinion, and if Chelsea Football Club win the league, i will believe they bought it.... and i think im right. obviosly a chelsea fan wont agree with that

To be fair Lampard apoligised for the challenge in the post match interview. He said he wasn't look to catch Alonso but football in a contact game and you've gotta expect injures from challeneges.

Well, when it seemed that we were starting to get the majority of the squad back to full health, we get a spate of injuries once again compounded by Xabi Alonso's broken ankle!
List of injuries/potential comeback dates:

Baros 3rd Jan (Norwich game)
Kirkland 7th-11th Jan (Burnley/Watford)
Josemi 25th Jan (Watford 2nd leg)
Kewell 1st-5th Feb (Charlton/Fulham)
Alonso 12th Feb (Birmingham)
Smicer February
Cisse May+

I've never seen such bad luck concerning injuries at Liverpool ever. I hope the lad get back soon and the boys we have fit can do a decent job!
Bring on Norwich!!!

Sigh. Has anyone else noticed that Liverpool always seem to PLAY better, but don't always win? Seriously. I look at the possession, shots on targets etc, and Liverpool is almost always ahead.

Yes we do need a nice finisher, but do you not think we need a top header of the ball? With Gerrard floating crosses in, as well as any number of left wingers being able to, we should score a few on headers. This also applies for CKs and FKs as well.

Well if we sign Morientes, hes that sort of striker. Hes a good header of the ball and a great finisher. He'd easily be a 20 goal a season striker.

I agree. Chelsea bought the title if they win it. There is no way they could of added players like Kezman, Robben, Mutu ((H)), Cole, Drogba, Parker etc etc without the aid of Roman's millions.

is the thai prime minister or steve morgan still trying to bid for a 30% stake of liverpool?i say if they are just accept it because an extra 75 million(or what ever the bidding price is) would really do us good right now. We'll be able to afford Morrientes easily and can use some more of the money to bring in a couple more quality players like aimar coz didn't they mention before that we'll get 40 million to spend? well just pointing out a good idea
(BTW YES! WE'RE WINNING 2-0!goodonya garcia and riise)

i dont think the thai prime minister will be investing into liverpool purely because of aledged corruption and other factors liverpool wont sell to him .... Steve morgan announced aa week ago he has withdrawn his offer .... Parry and Moores surely have some money stashed around anfield some where

I dont know why the crap you people still didnt put fh_29 on the ignore list. I dont read all the crap he posts and i'm happy with it. Do it too.

As soon as the moron notices no-one gives a **** about him, he'll go away. Losers need attention, and you're giving him attention.

About the Chelsea game, i didnt watch it (on friday got drunk and didnt get a single minute of sleep, then on saturday i slept a lot in the night and only woke up at nearly 1:30 PM at sunday and missed the game...). Too bad we lost, but well, at least from what i've heard we've outplayed them.

I'm glad we beat Norwich, now we're fifth.
