I'd go with Riise at the left back with Kewell (if fit) at left mid... or maybe stick to the lone striker formation, dropping Baros and putting in Hamann or Biscan

I dont think Rafa will go for that. I think he'll use the 4-5-1 he has always been using in the CL.

Seems about right, although it could be Biscan in place of Hamann or Kewell in favour of Riise or Baros ahead of Cisse. We'll have to wait and see.

Possibly, but don't forget that using only one striker for the Champions League games has maybe been more of a necessity than a choice up until now. We have not had two strikers good enough for the 'big games' until Ciisse was fully fit again, which has been very recent indeed. I think that we may start with two upfront. Just a feeling though, nothing concrete.

sad to have to leave Biscan out after his played so well for us in europe :( but i'll go with Hamman is he has more experience hopefully Biscan will come on and play his part in winning us the cup :)

I would start with Biscan ahead of Hamann.

I don't mean to be so strict, I just don't have simpathy for people who moan about first team football. Your getting paid at least 20 grand a week, you should work hard to gain a first team place without moaning.

I agree :jap: Baros has to go. He has been given more chances than he deserved & yet has the guts to moan about a starting place. Bad bad :kader:

I hear Heidar Helguson is becoming available. He is been doing incredibly well over at watford, and it would be awsome to see him florish in a top team. and I'm not only saying that since we're both icelandic.

28 in August... decent age for a striker and may be useful if Baros is gone, though I think he'd be sitting on the bench since we have Cisse/Moro

he was born in '77, so he's 28. he's got 16 goals in 36 games in the league this season, 1 goal in 2 fa cup matches, and 3 in 5 league cup matches

I hear Dirk Kuyt may be a Liverpool player next season with Jerzy Dudek heading back to Feyenoord in a swap deal for Kuyt. 24 years old, 22 goals in 33 games.
