Vieri, man, what happened. As recent as World Cup 2002 I would have put him in my top 5 strikers in the world.

he still is a freak player, just on the wrng terms with the inter fans and the manager, i think he needs a change of scenery

Im still a fan of Vieri (puts on his italy jersy with Vieri 21 on the back)

From wot i have seen alot of the events that have happened have been blown out of praportion.

Bobo's not over at all yet.

If he gets off the careercrashers squad. he'll bloom and show all the "fuck vieri!!1"s what he's really all about.

I'd be pissed in his situation, maybe.. There's always room for some money-makers on Chelsea-bench.

There still are the true Inter fans that appreciate what Vieri has done and are not the ones that boo him. I think its a discrace the way some supposed "fans" are treating him.

yeah, true fans have to appreciate what vieri has done for their team.
how in the fvcking world can you bash your best player in the past 4 seasons? thats freakin stupid.

vieri and zac DONT get along and nothing will change that.

he didnt refuse last sunday to play, he didnt refuse to play the other time. he knew he wasnt goint to start so prefered to practice instead of warm up the bench.

he doesnt celebrate his goals in inter, so what? he even doesnt celebrate the goals that he scores with italy. something wrong with that? not at all

vieri is a great player in the wrong team.

He falls over so easy when ever he has a defender on him.

Pretty much, I think I've come to known 2 Inter players as cheats.

Toldo and Vieri, I don't care. I think Vieri is a diver so whatever, that's my opinion, just as it's everybody's opinion that Porto dive for every single call.

you need glasses man

to bring down vieri takes an awful amount of legs kicking him

he nevers goes down. ho goes for the ball and always stays up until he kicks the ball to the net

it might be your opinion, but the thing is that there is no room for opinion on this one. he just isnt a diver like a.k.a superpippo and his brother

i don'y know how they call vieri in other countries, but in spanish the call him "el toro vieri" that means "the bull vieri" 'cause of his strength

hes probably gonna go to juve, and juve will benefit from inters uncanny ability to always screw things up

and yeah everything has been blown out of proportion

and vieri decided not to celebrate goals because the fans turned their backs on him, so i agree with what he did, just because the media says that there is a rift, doesnt mean that there actually is one

vieri scores all of inters goals, hes scored 100+ and hasnt played a full season due to injury, inter would be making a huge mistake to let him go, if juve do get him, i wouldnt be surprised if they got a 28th scudetto

Did you fall asleep while posting your post Rob since you didn't finish it off? :p

Anywayz simply put, Vieri isn't a diver. This guy doesn't fall down after a little brush of contact. It takes a good amount of tackeling to take him down that is why it is rare that he is the striker that causes the team to get a penalty kick in their favor.

And also, how is Toldo a cheat?? Does he elbow people? Does he leave the box with the ball in his hand while kicking it? I simply can't see how you could possibly consider Toldo a cheater:confused:

Vieri makes Inter pledge Monday 10 May, 2004

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Inter’s Christian Vieri has rejected talk that the game against Parma was his last for the club.

The striker, linked with a summer move, was booked yesterday which will rule him out of the trip to Empoli.

But despite a difficult campaign at the San Siro, he maintains that he still has a future with the outfit.

"I still have two years left on my contract," he told La Domenica Sportiva. "If they don’t get rid of me then I will stay at this club."

Vieri has been heavily linked with a summer exit mainly down to his difficulties with boss Alberto Zaccheroni.

The tactician has dropped him from the side recently, insisting that he can’t co-exist with Adriano.

"I have a normal professional relationship with the Coach," maintained the player. "There isn’t a problem at all."

However, there seems little doubt that one from Vieri or Zaccheroni will leave the club during the summer.

"As for Adriano, only in Italy do we discuss such things. Adriano and I can play together, like I have featured alongside Hernan Crespo and Ronaldo in the past," he continued.

"Two strikers like us can play in the same team so long as we have a great squad to back us up."

The Azzurri star also looked ahead to Euro 2004. "I’m ready for it," he added. "I’ll start a special training regime from Tuesday.

"Should Baggio get the call? I don’t know but there wouldn’t be a problem if he was selected. Seeing how he is playing I think it is a real shame that he wants to quit the game."

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Sounds like the typical "I have two years on my contract" bs so I think anything could still happen.

Not to keen on Zac coming out and saying Adriano and Vieri can't play together. I think Adriano is versatile enough to make up for Vieri's lack of maneuverability. Adriano often comes deep into the midfield to recieve the ball and help out the defence. Not sure but at this point I think I would rather see Zac go than Vieri.

One comment on Vieri though, he should take some lessons from Ruud and just stand between the 6 and the pk spot, he doesn't look very well with ball at his feet and seems to screw up alot of attacks.
