You'd think that the MLS would just "adopt" the rhino's into itself, I'm sure the rhino's would have no problems with it, but i guess there are things holding that back.

Sweet. ESPN has determined that South Carolina's fúcking meaningless spring football scrimmage is more important than the RSL-Colorado game. Great decision. (Y)

I watched the first half of the Fire/Earthquakes game......

Chicago is dominating possession, but can't get too many scoring chances. Quite a boring half IMO. Hopefully the 2nd is better.

O'Brien just scored one of the goals of the year. Beautiful swerving shot form 35 yards out.

...and Thiago Martins ties it up for the Goats.

Well, at least it wasn't a Mexican that scored.

FC Dallas won 3-1...

FCD: O'Brien, Ruiz (PK), Johnson.

That was a fantastic goal by OBrien...I hope that Chivaz player is OK, that looked nasty.

I know hes a rookie goalie, but Brad Guzan is having a horrible season so far.

Yeah, it will really affect his confidence. Like in the penalty, he never tried to save it. Someone just needs to tell the guy the season its only three games in, there's more than enough time to get up... :(

Anyway, what a great dive by Ruiz, without a doubt the best diver in the league.

Time to look on to the next game, nothing lost here, just experience earned. (Y)

Edit:

From MLSnet
"..Guzan sliced open his upper lip, a cut that required 10 stitches.."

Ouch...

In the two Goatf*cker matches I've seen so far, I don't think I've seen him save a single shot. In fact that freekick the Quakes scored off of last weekend could've been easily saved by most of the other keepers in this league. What did Guzan do? He just took a wa*k.......I mean walk!

Wow, I just watched Ronnie O'Brien's goal. What a shot. It's going to take something very special to beat that for Goal of the Year.

Yeah you can't place a shot any better than that, even the best goalkeeper in the world wouldn't have saved that.

It's even more special, in that it was scored from open play, rather than a free kick. He had maybe a second to decide where to aim and then hit it, not the 25 or 30 seconds that he would have had from a dead ball. Truly a special goal.

No way.

Guzan walked over to the post and did a little jump. It actually went through his hands. Jon Busch, Kevin Hartman, or Joe Cannon would of saved it.

I doubt Busch would have saved that. That's precisely the way you beat Busch - high bending shots like that. I'm not so sure about Hartman or Cannon either.

Any goalkeeper in the league could have saved that shot IF they saw it coming. That's the beauty of it, O'Brien was so far out that it would have taken any goalkeeper by surprise. And you can't hit it any better than O'Brien did. That ball had pace, bend AND it dipped down - perfect shot.
