woohoo, another blown 3rd period lead :rockman: :nape:

and the end of the game had some of the worst refereeing ever witnessed in NHL history, no surprise that Kerry Fraser was involved  Staal scores an empty netter to seal his hat trick and give the Canes a 5-3 lead... instead, Cole's called on a dive when he was clearly tripped :| so no goal, Leafs get the PP

ensuing PP, Lindros checks Ward ON THE ICING LINE, Ward happens to fly 3 feet and then hits the boards... Lindros gets a 5 minute boarding call :| a 2-minute interference call? ok, that would've been the right call, but how the **** do you call someone for boarding when the hit was made a good 5 feet from the damn boards?

**** off Kerry Fraser, worst ref in the history of the NHL, ****in redhead son of a bitch (N)

well, we bounced back today at least... 5-3 over the Lightning, Captain Mats back from that eye injury with a goal and an assist (H) (Y) him and O'Neill were a force on the PP (Y)

So Detroit lose to Phoenix (a team outside their division) 4-1.

They then win against St Louis (a team in their division) by a score of 4-1.

More proof why their schedule is easier and why they're on the top. Lets see how they do in the Northwest division.

Pierre Turgeon on Colorado-scores his 500th career goal in a 5-2 win over San Jose.

I can't beleive all these people are writing off the Avs, they could still easily win the cup and they're doing pretty well considering that they're in the NHL's toughest division.

I'd say the North East Division's a lot tougher... the Sens alone are enough to make it suck, and now the Habs are doing well too :(

pens may not be doing to well, but what else is new, i thought they my hold their own and maybe finish "500" but it is okay, they still can but it will be hard. But at least they have a future, maybe if they finish last they can pick up another 1st draft pick and get some more fantastic rookoies. ;) oh well still a long season ahead.

Since where Detroit is right across the border, the city I live in has a lot of Wings fans. They're not feeling so invincible anymore since Nashville are a lot better now.

So it was no surprise that Detroit beat Colorado 7-3, they were motivated because of what happened to Fischer. All my friends were rubbing it in that the Wings got the big win. My Anthro teacher was braggin' too but he's a cool guy so oh well.

Anyways, it was good to see ther Ovechkin vs Crosby battle where the Pens came out on top. Those two guys had great game and just imagine if they were on the same team.

Big rumour I've heard though, Roberto Luongo to Colorado for Aebeischer and Liles. Mike Keenan is the kind of wierd guy though who'd make a move like that to trade away the franchise player.

Leafs beat the Habs in OT again (H) Captain Mats with NHL all-time leading 14th OT goal :rockman:

PS: anyone see Marek Malik's goal that ended the shootout between the Rangers and Capitals? :D it went 15 rounds before he pulled that off to win it, what a ****in goal :rockman:
