Forsberg vs. Lindros.

Tuesday night - 7:30

Too bad Hatcher isnt playing. I wanted to see him lay out Darcy tucker.

and Lindros wiiins! (H) couldn't watch the match though, damn Tuesday night class :kader:

and no doubt the NHL is much more entertaining now, but it's become more of a Euro-pussy league because every bump is a penalty and gritty North American players just cant keep up (N) and how many fights have there been so far? like 1 for every 10 games? :( and even strength hockey just isn't a factor anymore (N)

PS: eat me Alex

Thats not what Rony means.

Fighting is (or was) an important part of the game. If you have watched hockey for a long time, you should know that. And i dont think you've been watching hockey long enough, if you make a comment like that. Its not just about two goons fighting for no reason.

1999-2000 Playoffs: Penguins are up 1-0 on the Flyers in the series. Game 2, Flyers are getting killed. 2 minutes left in the game, Bill Barber sends out the 4th line. The ref drops the puck....Keith Jones, Craig Berube and the other 3 flyers on the ice drop their gloves and absolutely beat the crap out of every Penguin on the ice. The momentum totally swung, and the Flyers went on to win 4 straight to win the series.

And what about the record breaking Sens-Flyers brawl. Do you think these teams just felt like killing eachother one night? Youre crazy. That went all the way back to Martin Havlat slashing Recchi in the face weeks before.

Fighting is a huge part of the game, and i would hate to see it go. Me and Rony have seen some of the most brutal series in the past 3-4 years. (Leafs-Flyers, Islanders-Leafs, Sens-Leafs). When the Flyers play the Oilers, sure i want to see open, entertaining hockey. But when two rivals meet, i want to see hitting. I want to see teams sending a message to eachother.

Don't worry Flyer, the fighting will return eventually. Its because the players are still feeling out the new rules and they're still learning what they can and can't do. Also, the emphasis on regional rivalries will mean that intradivisional rivals meet 8 times a year, and I'm sure by the 4th or 5th meeting, some level of animosity will have been achieved. So give them another month or two before they start throwing some haymakers.

hahaha, I ordered Leafs TV to watch this game... it was 4-0 when I started, and we didn't stop

Jeff O'Neill hat trick :D (Y) Ponikarovsky's first goal :rockman: :lui:

and finally some passion, lots of fights... although most were to Atlanta for being dirty cheap faggots (N)

haha, that was amazing... every time Lindros touched the puck, he'd get booed... so he scores 2 goals, including the GWG (H)

oh, and the O'Neill-Allison-Tucker line is on fire :rockman:

oh, and Aki Berg sucks dick and I hope he breaks his leg and can't play for the rest of the season and gets released by the Leafs

The weak defence will be the Leafs downfall.

As for the Avs, weak goaltending has lead to 4 or more goals in every game except one. The Avs are scoring a lot of goals, but not good enough at keeping leads.

Leafs beat Canes last night in OT, Klee with 15 seconds left (H)

blew two different 2 goal leads though, and McCabe was involved in both tying goals for the Canes... first one wasn't really his fault, blocked a shot, got hurt, couldn't get in position and gave one of the Canes enough space to score... but the 4th Canes goal... wow :| what kind of defenseman gets on his knees and tries to GLOVE SAVE a point shot that the keeper had full view of? :| damn McCabe, your lucky your so damn good at attacking :nape:

My ass smells like your mom
Rangers lost today, Islanders lost today and Devils lost today. :nape:
Although I was impressed by islanders performance.Devils were just to stupid to loose a game, and rangers game was just boring.
