Macedonia had about 20 shots on goal hit the post 2 times and Slovakia form 3 shots on goal scored 2 goals.
macedonia totaly dominated that game, we had the ball about 65% or more, but yet we still lost.

what are you talking about? totti was the only player given a red for italy, and it was portugal who had 2 players sent off, not spain.

man i knew you were gonna go that route. hey, i'll admit, the refs made some bad calls in the spain match. i've said that all along. but the fact of the matter is, neither spain or italy should have been in a compromising situation like that.

A penalty not awarded to Sporting in the 92nd minute, then the counter-attack, the Moreirense player makes a foul on a Sporting player, crosses the ball, and... goal!

For an opposing team it has to be the 1999 CL Final. I can remember Matthaus sort of starting to celebrate just before Man Utd scored their first on the stroke of 90mins. Bayern had played okay, better than United on the day and had hit the post. Then in went the first, followed a minute later by the second. Kuffour was hunched over on his knees punching the floor, you could see the shock and extreme disappointment in the eyes of the Bayern players and supporters.

Leverkusen had a cruel twist 2yrs ago, although it wasn't a match. Within a game of winning their league, in the final of the German Cup and the CL and they won nothing. Nothing at all.

Yer i have the Man Utd treble video from 99 and i was watching the final. All the bayern players are smiling thinking theya re winning it and withing a few minutes it goes from happy to sad
