Here's my latest signing Wiley Kitts - a teenager with lots of potential! He was expensive but I think he will be worth it. Apparently he hasnt maxed in tackling, which is good. I'ma train him up in speed to get him up to 3 or 4, then ball control for a bit, and then tackling, where i hope to get him up to 8-odd. By this time he will be 21-22, where i could flog him for a good profit :D

Surely an England player in the making?

I was tempted but the lack of speed put me off. I bought a 22-y/o and 23-y/o and it took about a season to get them from 0 to 2 speed, I cba and just trained them elsewhere. Lucky that speed doesn't seem to matter as much for midfielders as defenders or forwards. :p

I personally try to avoid players with less than 5 speed and stamina, unless they can train up like the 19-y/o I bought, training until 5 speed and then I'll get him onto 4 intel and tackling, then train up passing and shooting to 8 and 6 :D

Nice signing Shark. He'll be great in a few seasons. The speed is a bit low, but then again when the sim next changes that might not matter.

I wonder how much difference it makes how much younger they are... few days? It will still take a while as you can't put coaches on those areas. :(

Course he's good enough. Will fit nicely into my team. It would be foolish to leave him out! And unless you have been buried underground in a coffin for the last couple of months, you would have noticed the inflation in England. Did you see that 22 year old Edinburgh Knights bought for about £820k? I got a good deal.

seriously, i think you will be able to resell him for a profit in a year or two to someone who doesn't mind if he only has say 2 speed.

But with zero speed he won't play great in a team as good as yours i reckon!!
