Nah, I've now realized that the damn game just try to force us to play better more than before. After some trying until I almost uninstalled the game out of frustration and boredom, I've finally got all the skills I need to pwn World Class difficulty and World Class GK. It's simpler than you think when you've actually found out there weaknesses.

Use your midfielders to attract the defenders' attention, then pass the ball to a free striker, no one will even chase after you. When you oppose the GK, just aim for a weak low corner shot when the GK is trying to approach you or when you've gotten nearly inside the 6-yard box you'll almost always score (btw I can score in more different ways now). If you're not confident with your shooting, when the GK is approaching you, hit D+S+either a left or right direction to do a fake shot, he'll always be fooled and now all you have to do is to shoot the ball into an empty goal.

I'm not sure how you guys are defending, but if you're holding D all the time then your defenders will always chase behind the ball and you'll never get it. I suggest you try running across the path your opponent is running and start holding D when you get near him, and quickly release D when you feel the ball, you'll most probably get it, if not then you'd have cleared the ball for a throw-in. Maybe you should also choose the player to control better so that you don't have to run all the time. In fact if you run (and fast) you can't get the ball as well as when you're only moving slightly or slowly or even when you're not moving at all.

And CPU strikers are actually not so good, it only depends on how you play your GK. When their striker is about to get past your last 1 or 2 defenders, don't bother defending anymore. Start holding W and call your GK up. Their striker will most of the time shoot (75% trying a chip shot) and miss the target, if not your GK will either get the ball in his feet or punch his shot away (just like what the CPU GK does to you). There're only slight chances of him scoring a goal if your GK closes down fast.

Oh yeah and keep the ball for reaaaallly long when you're in possession. If you let them have more possession they'll push you more and more.

Just so you know the game can be played quite normally, not so frustrating anymore for me. Last match I used Valencia against Liverpool on World Class difficulty + GK, I won 2-0 with 54% possession and 13 shots (9 on target) while they could only shoot 2 off target.
And there definitely is a huge difference between 90/90/90 and 50/50/50. Trust me.

Keep trying maybe it's not so bad after all.

If any of you guys played next gen FIFA 07 then you would be shocked. The RB shot was a well known glitch which would 9/10 result in a goal. It was shocking. I even saw people on the xleague matches using it. I thought they had removed this bug as it is the first thing I tried on 08 and I didnt score. I guess it still crops up every now and again then?
