Ok whatever u say............i still can't figure it out how some people consider the gamecube third when the real 3rd place should go to the ps2.
The GC even haves solid proof of what i stated with the RE games and other games like Metroid Prime,Mario Sunshine,F zero GX and so on...
When RE4 comes out this will be even more clear since the game is going to be in full 3d without prerendered backgrounds.
People need to be less fanatical and accept the truth,GC is superior to the ps2 in graphics.Period.

OK,, upon reading all this debate and arguement, i finally decided to post THE TRUTH and put an end to this thread. Therefore, any bashing about this post will go un-acknowledged by me (meaning I WONT REPLY to it)
Now don't get me wrong. PLEASE. I own Xbox(also gc and ps2) and I spent so much money on it so Im not a fanboy. I just feel pissed off. This is my honest opinion so guys pleas dont bash.
First of all, XBOX REALLY REALLY lacks good software. HALO! HALO! HALO! When Halo came out, that's all the xbox owners were talking about. And they are still talking about Halo(which I think isn't an amazing game and it is very reptitive) and won't stop till Halo 2 comes out. All the big names xbox promised were mostly FLUNKS! They said Bruce lee was gonna be great, BLinx would crush mario, Brute force would be amazing, Raw would be the best wrestling game, Wreckless would be hot. ETC.ETC.ETC. All the other "big titles" were ported ON TO xbox AND most of the its big titles were/are suppose to be on pc first. And Kotor is just one game and many RPG die hard friends of mine really didn't think kotor was one of the best rpg's evermade.
Now the controllers. The original control was HORRIBLE and so clunky that it felt like i was holding a big mac in my hand. All the xbox's fanboys were denying this and saying it was felt good in their hands but then when the controller S came out, all those fanboys that "loved" the control bought controller s. Now controller s is,in my opinion, worse than the original control. This is because of the black and white buttons ARE horribly placed. Atleast on the original controll, the button lay out was decent.
GRAPHICS! lolol. Supposedly, xbox was suppose to have the best graphics. The GRAPHICS LOOK SOOOOOOO PCish(i hope you know what i mean by that). Its not like video game graphics but so pcish. And if xbox is supposedly suppose to have the best graphics, how come the best graphical GAMES ARENT EVEN ON XBOX!!(Final Fantasy 10, Resident evil remake, Star fox adventures, metroid prime, Silent hill 3). Many developers in interviews have said the graphics on xbox looks sharpers in multiplatform games because the xbox hardware is extremely similar to the pc.
Online gaming. When xbox live game out, every xbox fanboy was ranting "live is the best, better than the network adapter", "outsold network adapter", "live is the best". How come the best online games are on ps2? Socom, RE: outbreak, gt4, ALL of EA, and much more. ANd on ps2, you dont even have to pay.
I could say much more. I know people are gonna make me look like a fanboy. Im not. Im just saying what i believe is the truth. Xbox is like A pc. And i dont like pc, i like Video games.

i disagree with you.Although i only own a GC and really like it i must admit the best graphics battle goes to the Xbox.Just look at Halo and the Project gotham racing game,not to mention SCell and other games.
As far as game quality and fun competition the GC is the clear winner,that's the main reason of my purchase,because the GC has the best sagas like Metroid,Zelda,Mario,Fzero,Resident Evil,ED,Star Fox,Fire Emblem and many other exclusive games.Also the controller its the most confortable(not for fighting games though)
If we talk about quantity,online gaming and biggest selection of games the ps2 wins by a mile,it has so many games and a good variety of online games that it sells like hot cake.

Best Racing games is Xbox. Best Platforms is GC plain and simple. Shooters, well Halo is THE best shooter then factor in Unreal and Xbox wins that.

actually the Gamecube ATI chip IS faster than the Sony gpu.
But, gamemakers have been working extensively with SONY to get the best out of the PS2.
