It seems hard to detect this way... I recommend you try to remove RFS folder and install the game from scratch. Let me know if the problem persists.

RFS folder must be a subfolder of your <Documents> folder.
FIFA patching should be managed properly by the program whatever it is installed (it uses Registry information to locate the FIFA 16)

OK, I'll reinstall and let you know. Another question, is it possible to somehow use the kit generator as a standalone? For example, an export function in the web importer tool? In some cases, kits are generated where the sponsor is not recognizable at all because of the color combination. and I think generating it in the web importer is brilliant. So I can export it as an rx3 file if it fits.

I found the problem. It was due to my settings settings. I downloaded FIFA from the EA app but didn't start it beforehand. Apparently you have to start FIFA once because a setting file has to be created. thus problem solved.

OK, apparently the problem still exists with the launcher smearing. If I install an older version of RFS and RFS runs the patch for FIFA 16, I then uninstall RFS and then install version 1.01 over it, it works. but when I have fresh FIFA 16 and fresh RFS 1.01 the launcher doesn't work. Could it be that the files are missing in version 1.01 that the launcher is smearing? I noticed that the fifasetup.ini in the fifa 16 folder is missing in the 1.01 version, which was installed by rfs in the 0.14 version. So the launcher definitely closes after the text creating away team kits. The text creating referee kits doesn't appear at all

I can't launch FIFA 16 with RFS, when I want to start a match I have the load table with the home and away kits which load, then the referees' kit and finally 2 other things which appeared briefly but I didn't have time to read, everything seemed to work fine but then I come back to the results table and fifa 16 does not launch.
I tried several times, I have a clean installation of FIFA 16 on my external hard drive, I installed RFS on another folder, I set up the folders in "my documents". I don't see where the problem is..I noticed after launching RFS that there is a ZIP file which appears in my fifa 16 folder, inside this ZIP there is a data file and some other folder and an RFS.ini setup file it seems to me...is this normal?

First be sure to have installed RFS_Setup_1_01
A couple of test:
1) check if the file RFS_Patch.ini is present in FIFA 16 main folder, its content should be:
[RFS]
RFS_PATCH = 1.03
2) If you launch FIFA 16 directly, double click on the exe or through EA App (after a failure in launching from RFS) does it start ?

1.01 is installed. double clicking via exe also works. but something might be missing in 1.01. If I first install a previous version and then 1.01 on top of it, strangely enough it works. maybe with the referee kits? because that's where it breaks off.

I guess I found it, the folder kitoverlay is missed.
If you just create it manually in data\sceneassets\kitoverly it should work. Please let me know.
