The FA Cup - Semi Final Draw

People shouldn't count out Sunderland and Tranmere by saying "Great, Millwall in europe".

I personally want Tranmere there, it would be great for the future of the club.

And, no, Ronaldo won't run on us like Giggs did...Campbell and Toure could out muscle him, he's a little bitch. Giggs would be the wing threat.

No you need to correct that prediction:

Arsenal win the Premiership losing just one game
Arsenal win the FA CUP
Bayern Munich beat the star lacking Real Madrid and not only does Arsenal reach the CL final, but the Gunners WIN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE !

Arsenal are the best team(all round) in Europe right now.:rockman:

They are the best in England but not in europe. You only beat Celta 3-2. And Celta are struggling a lot for relegation. So, Real or Milan could beat Arsenal. But Arsenal is the best in England atm. I am not happy with a draw, but i just realised that if there was Arsenal-Man Utd final, both teams would be missing some quite important players (Henry, Saha, Silvestre, Pires, Vieira etc.) so having the two teams play in the semi-final, will make both teams being able to line-up their best possible line-up. And then have a half strong squad for the final, which will give a slight chance for a future Coca-Cola league team :crazyboy: to have a go . So maybe a semifinal is better. At least the teams will use thier best players.

IF Real beats Bayern, then I predict Real v.s Arsenal in the Champions League final...as much as I do not like Arsenal, I feel that they are very good now and are definitely better than AC MILAN(barely) ...

if Real lose, I cannot imagine anyone beating Arsenal, not United, not Juve, not Chelsea, not Bayern themselves, NO ONE !:kader:

In your second last post you comment, like you support Arsenal, especially with this rock man guy, now in your last post you comment, like you hate them:confused:

As much as I would love to see Kleb, I would put him on the bench. Like you said we are dealing with monsters here, I'd put DjembaX2 up there. Also Nicky Butt needs a place just so he can bruise some legs.

So.......Europe here we come! :wootman:

Um, and what if Sunderland make it to the final and also get promoted back to the Premier League? No nationwide league will be represented then.....

If Bayern make it past Real Madrid, they will win the CL final. History proves me correct...

Arsenal won't get past the next round, no matter how impressive they have been this year.

A Nationwide team makes it into Europe.
(Y)

The Football Association have confirmed that a Nationwide League side will be in Europe next season, following the FA Cup draw.
The semi-final draw saw Sunderland paired with Tranmere or Millwall, meaning Manchester United face Arsenal in the other tie.

With Arsenal and United all but guaranteed places in Europe through the league, that means the runners-up will be handed the Uefa Cup spot from the final.

"The rules have not changed," said an FA spokesman told skysports.com.

"It does not matter that a non-Premiership side is in the final, the Uefa Cup place will go to one of the Nationwide clubs."

The last Nationwide club to reach Europe was Wrexham in 1995/95 - who played in the Cup Winners' Cup after taking the Welsh Cup.

Of the three remaining clubs, only Sunderland have taken part in Europe before.

The Black Cats featured in the 1973/74 Cup Winners' Cup - going out in the second round to Sporting Lisbon.

Sunderland and Millwall, however, both still have high hopes of securing promotion to The Premiership and so one of them could land a place in Europe and the top flight come May.

He's a Millwall fan...they could get promoted too, they actually have a better chance than Sunderland, he knows what he's on about ;)

If a club goes to europe they represent the league they were in the year of winning the european spot. A few years ago Ipswich were in europe as an EPL team, tho they played in D1.

Is there a possibility that if United and Arsenal both qualify for the CL QF that they could be drawn against each other?

Because that could make it 3 games between the two teams in about a week and a half.

Four dont forget the Premier ship match on 3/28

Yep, clubs from the same association can be drawn against each in the Quarter-Final, I read it on Teletext. :o
