I admired Wigan for trying to win the game but I felt that they should have held possession in the counterattack before the goal. Tough luck for them. Good goal by Crespo though.

Crespo You Sh*tty F*cker

Chelsea are the luckiest side in England, so so so f*cking underserved. Wigan played their hearts out, defended so damn well. Champions of England, haha, you're f*cking having a laugh.

Omg...amazing! Maybe it is luck...the champion's luck...btw...than Johansson is really dumb. Had time to receive the ball, and then shoot, and makes a volley with his worst foot...baaaaad.

Quality game, you could see Mourinho was kind of embarassed of the result and went to Jewell right after the goal.

Johannson is a moron, he had mountains of time to bring the ball down. De Zeuw was a wall all game, definate MOM.

Wigan looked very solid today, but I bet they lose next week 3-0 to a club like fulham

Aw, I feel sort of sorry for Wigan. Anyway, what can you do? They just get promoted for the first time into the prem, then immediatly face big fat moneyloaded chelscum, the former champions. In any case, better them failing than City. :)

:( At least I predicted the score well. Was kinda logic, 0-1, what else do you expect from Chelsea.

I wacthed Arsenal-Newcastle too, dull match, good to see Van Persie scoring. Huge Dutch influence this year in EPL. This was a good match week too for them. RVN scoring, Van Persie scroing, Vd Sar keeping clean sheet, De Zeeuw playing well for Wigan, debuts for Zenden and Westerveld.
